There are few things as fun as this:

I just love to occasionally listen to this.

Harlan Ellison is just...

Harlan Ellison.

I have never heard of him. I only knew the name because I went to Wikipedia before writing that post.

I give my thanks to the people who send me their sympathies.

Saw Guardians of the Galaxy myself today. I have to agree, the Big Hero 6 trailer was the best one that showed before the film.

*poof*
A wild Glasir appears in a puff of smoke!
*waves away smoke, coughing*

I don't really ever post, but I do lurk a lot, and I've been really enjoying the Jakkard stories. You all have done a great job there. And today it ended up spilling out in to the real world!

So, at work I just started a new project. The naming scheme my team uses for project names is "{type of music} Shark". Obviously, the first Shark I thought of was Fisco Vane. Sadly, "FiscoVaneThe" is not a type of music.

And so Disco Shark was born.

...

(it's a bit of a stretch, sure, but it's as close as I could get)

Anyways, carry on, thought this might amuse somebody. :)

Disco Vane, the Shark...

Is he rad enough to handle the Jakkard dance-off with his crew?

...I think this more than anything else might justify the work that went into finishing up the style guide for Jakkard.

I can totally envision Fisco rocking a leisure suit.

Burn, baby, burn. Disco inferno!

So, I have an idea that I'd like to develop using a kithkin, but I'm iffy on a few things to be honest.
Aside from the fact that I'm supposed to be developing a green ooze walker (though that comes way below the rest of what I've been working on), I'm not sure what direction exactly to take this character in, if I do create her.

The idea is that she's a blue ascetic mind mage. Aside from that, I have reservations about doing her to start with. Part of that is just the fact that I'm not sure I could do her without tying her into white at least a little and... c'mon, don't we have enough of them!?

If I were making an ooze walker, I would just make it a nonintelligent ooze. Likes: eating stuff. Dislikes: being hungry. Then I would write hilarious short stories about the adventures of the Interplanar Ooze across the multiverse.

In the youtube brackets, just delete everything up to and including the "v=". The video should then be imbedded.

it's [youtube]the stuff after "v=" in the url[/youtube]

So yours should be

Code:
[youtube]rK4Bh_arF-E[/youtube]

Took me a while to figure that out myself.

One of my favorite little games was when Barinellos challenged people to come up with representative songs for the various canon (and, later, non-canon) planeswalkers.

As a small nod to Ruwin's latest opus for Fisco and Jackie, I figured I'd share my Jackie playlist, as it were. It's a six-shooter.

"Lily, Rosemary, and the Jack of Hearts" - Bob Dylan (original version sadly not on YouTube)
"I Want You" - Bob Dylan (original version sadly not on YouTube)
"Knocking on Heaven's Door" - Bob Dylan
"Red Jackie" - RavenoftheBlack
"Queen of the World" - Ida Maria
"Portions for Foxes" - Rilo Kiley

So, the Simpsons marathon has just whacked me with a humongous nostalgia stick.
The Poochie joke in the other thread a prime example of that.

The reason I bring it up is that I shortly looked up Sideshow Bob singing the HMS Pinafore* (featured from the episode Cape Feare) and then checked the channel guide about an hour later to discover it was coming on an hour from now.

There are times I wish my life were less temporally cyclical.

*I love me some Kelsey Grammar.

It seems like the wiki needs some updating. Some people, for example, have appeared in more stories than listed in the wiki.

Also, hi, this project is awesome etc. I wish I was good enough at writing to contribute!
