I'm aware it's 41 cards.

It's just my own personal experiences, but I find 23-18 serves me better most of the time than 22-18 or 23-17. *shrug*

As for Avacyn v. FtD, I figured going 12-6 got me, on average, one of them at 5 and both at 6 (2:1 plains to swamps means an expectation of being 4:2 at 6 land)

Nice build, very focused.

This deck is not the strongest, those three Pegasi really point that out. How do we stop a green deck? I think I'd cut a Covenant for Unmake the Graves or Necrobite, but it's very close. And I'd cut a Plains to get to 40 cards. There are a lot of sideboarding options, like Rats and Cat against aggro. Sadly, not much against RG beatdown.
