So I just noticed the "Community Set" forum and I see a lot of amazing stuff here. Can any one join or am I a lurker at this point?

You can definitely join, and please do. It might take a bit to catch up on the set (we're pretty close to being done filling the slots!) but more activity is always great and it'll be sweet having more hands during development.

I'd suggest looking through the scans Parad has at http://starstill.com as I believe that's the most current spoiler we have (as well as just being cool).

Eternally dormant, they all came to life at once, burning with unknown purpose.

I wanted to leave off planeswalker, but saying "is all permanent types expect for planeswalker" bugged me more. This way a player can achieve mastery, but the card is very vulnerable.

EDIT: I stuck all the types on the type line. Unfortunately I know how ugly that would look actually rendered.
