I'm torm between Parad (A functional, flavorful reprint) and Shazzeh (Curse my hunger for wanton land destruction!). I do think having a little vanilla is good, but at the same time I'm probably not gonna take it with that.

Here we find ourselves in the same sticky situation we were in last round:

Last round, I voted for Shazzeh, but Shazzeh didn't vote. I decided to let my vote stand because I thought his card was better than mine, but that's what made the difference between him winning and me winning.

And now we're in the same situation again. But this time, I think my card is better. So I'm going to retract my vote for CKY and set the criterion. But I'm going to add Biting Frost to the spoiler too so that I don't feel like an ass. I hope that's cool with everybody.

Make a rare that does something you wouldn't expect Red to be able to do, but gets away with because of a crippling drawback, a clever mechanical twist, or spot-on flavor.

My first idea was merging Polymorph for any card type (but perhaps limited to stuff other people control to prevent shenaniganing). Then I realized that I could just mention that idea and maybe somebody without an idea would make it for me. (Red needs a way to deal with enchantments y'all!). I also remembered an old design of mine.

I might have to change the flavour text if the story fails to take a particular direction. Nothing quite has the same punch as a dragon going up in flames though.
