What's the season, and around what time's the sunset?

Is there a food court in the pokemon center? How much does average food cost, same as Field Rations/Grab-to-go?

How are the PTA games going? Any pros and cons to be aware of?

Anything NGA could be doing as a site to better facilitate the game system?

I feel like my game may have some issues on my side of the spectrum, but I'm new at GMing, so I'm trying my best. I hope the party's enjoying playing it as much as I am running it.
though parts of the system are a tad bit broken.

Also, storyteller, here's everything you and everyone else needs to know in regards to your questions.
It's currently Summer, the sun sets at 8:00 PM, it's currently 5:00 PM, Pokemon Centers provide housing and they do have a buffet in each of them, 5 Poke a person for the buffet.

The games are going fine, actually, even if this one has become a little slow in the last few days and I don't know why.

@Sapper, since you asked, we have no place to store our sheets since mythweavers doesn't support PTA. It's probably not going to happen, but if there's anything NGA can do to help with that, it would be awesome.

I curious; what parts of the system would you say are broken/bad/whatever? I wouldn't mind hearing more about what people think of the system as a whole.

Also just to confirm Squinty has left the Pokecenter for the local precinct. SO this means the people of interest in the Pokecenter at the moment are Ragrio, Storyteller, Kamui and Klaus in addition to the psychic bandits yes? Am I missing anyone of importance?

I can't speek for dino, but I think battles are way too fast because damage is through the roof, especially in lower levels.

We are actually currently working on hosting character sheets similar to the way that Mythweavers does. Obviously its not as simple as rehosting their information here; we have to write our own code for both the front end and the back in, make sure we have a solid way of keeping them saved, making them able to be public/private, etc.

We're working on the more popular systems first obviously so expect to see D&D and PF sheets up first thing, but we will definitely be trying to get as many systems as we can up once the tools are in place. And if PTA is a system thats being frequently played here, obviously it would be higher up on the list.

As opposed to actual pokemon that becomes a 1-hit-KO fest ;)

Seriously though yeah that is kinda a problem; a side effect of how the stats work I feel. Either you are a glass cannon or you can take hits all day but deal no damage. A balanced pokemon is kinda a bad pokemon.

I feel like the combat system is specifically slow for PBP versions, because you need to have a Trainer turn and a Pokémon turn, which can't always happens at the same time and can really slow combat down

Damage is a bit broken, honestly.

Also, Garren, you were right. That's everyone in the center.

I really think we need something from Fel.
And squinty, but Fel has direct relevance to what's happening now.

Hmm. A shame this failed. I'm curious how the result would have been handled - would I be the one talking on Sparkplug's behalf as I am technically in control of its actions or would Dino provide the answers? You should try again some time Ragrio. For science and all that.

I would say that the GM would decide, depending on what I ask. But you would have the right to object if you believe the Pokémon acted extremely out of character.

Answering my own question here. I'm very so-so on the skill system utilized here. While I appreciate the desire for relative simplicity considering the hundreds of 'mons they had to stat up the trainer options feel a little limited. With no dedicated skills each check has massive variation in possible outcomes - though I suppose this is a fault of D20 systems as a whole.

Or put into simpler turns - rolling between 1 and 20 on everything turns most skill checks into crap-shoots. You either hyper-specialize on a single attribute or let luck be the deciding factor in all rolls. Ah well.

To be honest, I've felt a little lost. I have little to no direction, so I'm not sure what I'm seeing or doing. But yeah, there is a new post that is directed at me, I think. I'll try and post soon-ish.

Yah, that's kinda sucky, but it does sort of make sense because most trainers are usually 10 year olds, not adults. At least you get points every time you level up.

Not silence, surely.
A child in your care is mouthing off to total strangers.
Shouldn't you have something to say as her guardian?

I don't know. You've done significantly less than than some of us. Last time you wanted us to slow down, but when we/I pause you say you have nothing to say. I guess it just doesn't feel like you're actually trying to play this game.
