New non-'Walker Doubling Season. Too bad that in trying to cut out the interaction with 'Walkers, they also lost interaction with a lot of other fun non +1/+1 counters.

Wow! A worse version of a card I don't like! Great! :/ I know a few people who will love this though, as they enjoy both +1/+1 Counter and/or Token focused decks.

Note that it's also symmetrical, so it potentially helps your opponents as well (which isn't always a bad thing in commander). If you play this against my ghave deck, I'll be very happy!

Yeah, it seems Commander is the only place where they will still make symmetrical cards.

I'm not surprised at all that there was a doubling effect in this commander stuff.

What surprises me is that they decided to take Doubling Season and make it worse, and give it a different name, instead of trying to do something new.

It doesn't surprise me at all. Doubling season is so popular, but at the same time, a little broken since the introduction of planeswalkers. It was only a matter of time until they made a new version that didn't interact with planeswalker.

The only thing that surprise me is that they made it symmetrical.
