I completely agree. P1 Caryatid put us into a Gx ramp archetype and P2 Emissary doesn't change that. We haven't seen a Heroic creature since P1 and there are too many bears and 3 toughness 2-3 drops in this set to waste a P3 on one of the worst Ordeals. Let the other green drafter at our table waste his P3 on it and we can get the Courser on the wheel.

There is (slightly) cheaper muscle in this set, but they don't have evasion.

I am perfectly happy with the 4/4, there basically wasn't a bad pick in that pack. Also gives us something to ramp into with our single piece of ramp if we're in blue, which cards like Griptide make being a good thing.

We're gonna get passed infinite two headed cerberuses though, make us all look dumb for not committing, ha

And we take it. Of course, the ordeal would be nice, but I'm not going to do the thing where I have a fantasy spin-off draft where we took the other thing. Doesn't work that way.

Two-headed is a solid pick. Let's do it.

(The only other card worth noting is Voyage's End. It's nice, especially against heroic, but even heroic.dec, which I've run in the face of griptide/voyages end/mnemonic wall nonsense, is resilient enough that it's not a backbreaker the same way a hard removal piece like Sip of Hemlock is)

voyage's end and wavecrash triton are better than all the other cards IMO, I'm picking voyage's end.

It's pick 4, and our three previous picks are all across different colours. There's lots of blue in this pack, so I'm reading a signal of blue here. Both green and red have similar presence here, though Red is less-so. Let's keep that open and go with Voyage's End. It's a great card in the format.

I vote for the Fox. Trample is revevant. 5 toughness is relevant.

I'm a fan of the Cerebus, but not in a ramp deck. I want to play a 3/3, 4/5 or 4/3 four drop on turn 3, not a 1/2.

As tempting as Double-headed is (and it would be basically a slam if we HAD taken the ordeal), I like Voyage's end more as well. Just barely.

Voyage's End

Blue is certainly the more open color judging by this pack. Whether we'll end up green or red is not clear yet. Picking a middling RR creature would be awful right here when we can take the much more versatile voyage's end which is in the more open color.

Voyage's End. I cannot state just how strong this card can be given how big tempo plays can be in this format.

Voyages' End, although I want to point out that Warrior's lesson is a pretty great card. 2 targets and a divination for 1 green mana?
