I have finished Fight Club. I actually enjoyed it muchly...though of course several things differ from the movie.

I've been meaning to watch/read the movie/book of Fight Club lately.

For now, I'm back on Dresden. Cold Days.

Reading the daughter of smoke and bone again, but it's so wild and loose and lovey dovey I'm taking a break. I've already read ready player one, which is an awesome read if you like video games, grew up in the eighties, and don't mind the obvious hack//sign ripoff or SAO ripoff. Currently reading bad feminist now too, which is very good as well.

Okay, legitimate book listing time:
American Gods by Neil Gaiman

I got like 100 pages into it over five days but I haven't had the time to pick it up again for the last two weeks.

I am reading the Christopher Moore books in chronological order. I read a couple a few years back and then didn't do any reading for a while but I am back to devouring books, lol.

Right now I am reading his 2nd book "Coyote Blue". He's definitely one of my favorite authors!

Reading Imperial Earth while I search libraries for the next (Foundation and Empire) Foundation book.

Im...not that into it. For a Sci-fi its very grounded in mundane detail. Which is an odd complaint, because I loved the Rama books for the same reason, but IE just isnt catching me. Maybe its the central character? Oh well, its a tiny book, so I will have to find my next book soon enough.

Ive finished Fight Club ((got distracted for a little while there)) and now I dont know what im going to read next.

Dresden?

Definitely on my to do list, but I dont know if I want to start a large chain like that, I might start a stand alone book.

After reading "Practical Demonkeeping" and "Coyote Blue" I am now onto "Island of the Sequined Love Nun" by Christopher Moore. I "skipped" "Bloodsucking Fiends" for now as I plan on reading his "Vampire Trilogy" once I hit the 3rd book in the series.

Before this I was reading Stephen King's "The Dark Tower Series" (Books 1-7). One of the most amazing series, I loved it!! I also read his "new" Dark Tower book "The Wind Through the Keyhole" which was also really good! It is set between books 4 and 5 I think (although it is about the main character's past more than anything). I am not into horror, books or shows/movies, but King is so much more than his label as a "horror author". It is really just amazing realistic fantasy.

Finished "Dance, Dance, Dance" by Murakami. My least fave of his so far; it's good just kinda eh.

Reading The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao and... whoosh man. Intense.

I have this and I've been meaning to read it. The synopsis on the back is practically a must-read itself.

Currently reading Good Omens, but I haven't really delved into yet. Waiting for vacation to start.

I'm currently reading The Corvette Navy by James Lamb. My granpa served on one of those things and it's interesting to see just what he went through. The navy sure had some characters in those days, and god, the incompetence of the Halifax shore staff was just staggering. I get angry reading that book sometimes. The stupid crap they pulled...


Totally, the afterword is something I usually just skip, but the book was so short I decided to read it anyways. Man, that thing needs to win some kind of award for best afterword. Better than some books I've read.
Good Omens is pretty good. Not the kind of king-among-books some people make it out to be, but a good read.
