it wasn't hard for me to work around. I never ran up against it, my role was basically vanilla. it just creates a certain atmosphere that I find thoroughly unenjoyable.

I knew giving you guys time was the right thing to do. Good work, guys!

Since I purposefully didn't post in the last Canto, let me say that I was with Alt in the beginning, because I though it made no sense for Luci to be Comedy. I changed my opinion, though, when seTiny mentioned that alignment was defined not by flavor, but by the win-cons. And then Alt suggested 2 Lucifers, which made actual 0 sense... Alt, remember to not claim the unlynchable role next time :P

Zinger, can you post the roles powers and win-cons?

In my last big game, Maximum Carnage: A Spider-Man Mafia, there were two Spider-Mans.

Also, yes I'll be posting the roles and win cons and everything when I have a chance, I'm just supremely busy this week in real life and I have a D&D game that I have been ignoring for a bit to focus on this Mafia game which I want to throw a few bones to, so....patience.

You might actually get most of that info faster if everyone just quotes their role PM (which, I am fine if they do at this point).

I'd assume that one is the wandering spirit and one is the body stuck at the bottom, so the spirit would disappear when the body got freed.
I lost my computer and a couple of other things.I'll host the next game only if my old computer still works.

My win condition was to get lynched by Dante. I thought ghosting the thread would help, thereby exhibiting a different playstyle too, but people continued to ignore me. So I bandwagoned a vote, hoping people would see that as scummy and Dante would go for the easy lynch. Turns out, in bandwagoning, I was the last to vote and coincidentally Dante was the one murdering the people last to vote. Lucky me :)

If those were your only two abilities which one were you asking if I could provide clarification? They both seemed straight forward. I thought you had a third ability that I hadn't seen yet.

My thoughts on the game:

It ran smoothly. A few hiccups in terms of the votecounts from me, and the obvious information leak from a couple players, but other then that everything went off without a hitch. The abilities all worked the way I had hoped they would. Interesting interaction between seTiny and GobO_Scarlet when he copied his ability to be in all circles. Some solid gameplay from everyone involved. Only change I would have made was to maybe tell Dante who Gabriel was so that he didn't end up killing one of his only allies (as he ended up doing right at the start).

MVPs:
Inferno MVP has to go to seTiny for being active, observant, and helping to secure his teams win in the endgame. Razor gets an honourable mention for similar reasons.
Divine MVP goes to altimis, but only by default because he was as much a detriment to his own team as he was a help to it.
Comedy MVP is a hard call cuz each of you had different wincons, but I think GobO_Scarlet wins here, if only slightly. 15377 gets an honourable mention for trying his best to drag the game out to get more souls.

I had a lot of fun designing this game and watching it play out. The mystery of the circles at the start was fun to watch and the whole "which side is town" was even more entertaining. This game was actually less complex than my last one which was a nice change of pace.

I'm already working on the next one, which is going to be the choose your MTG card mafia, as promised, and have at least two more games that will also come down the line, so, more fun to follow!

At that point, I didn't know much about the circles, and was under the (incorrect) impression that some might have benefits to the inferno aligned, but penalties to the divine. Of course that was disproven early, but, when I was focusing on you, I still believed there was a chance, and that it pointed to you being divine.
