Zodiac Monkey

This trades better than the Ambush force, and gets through at least as good. A bit less damage, but it kills bears.

it trades just as well on the attack, and we want to be attacking as much as possible. Forestwalk is really unreliable evasion.

My point exactly. It is almost strictly better than the Ambush Force. Both die to one-power blockers, and I don't think we should count on Ambush Force going unblocked, so the extra power on attack is mostly irrelevant.

I think we can count on it going unblocked sometimes. it can also swing into a 1/3 whereas monkey can't. or a 2/3, or a 3/3, or, you know, any blocker with three toughness. the problem with a bear offense is that it gets shut down by the first 2/3 that rears its ugly head. having some guys that can swing into that and offer a trade means we can still push damage through.

Ambush force, mainly because we will be doing a lot of trading, we have removal, and we have cards like Famine and that overcosted [c]Lure[/c[ which make our dudes that can swing in for 3 slightly better.

Chester Cheetah. We're an aggro deck, after all.

we only have one three-drop creature right now. I don't love cheetah, but it's hard to block and it fills a gap in our curve that I'm more worried about than the 5 slot.

Horde. These packs are just full with 2/3 swingers that will be shut down after we play this or the elephant. It doesn't die to femine.

ok so the question is if we're running forces. it's wildly out of curve and if we wanted to we could have a solid aggro deck without it and the ramp. on the other hand, we just took a 5-drop for no reason when the 3-drop would've filled a vital spot in our curve, so apparently we don't want a solid aggro deck, which means we apparently do want to just play the janky single-win-con deck. for that, Visits is good, because we need to hit 8 mana as fast as possible to stand a chance. but then we also need to draw the one card capable of actually winning, so I'm still hesitant on that plan.

on the other hand, there's no better option in this pack. we already have too many Green Dragons, and I don't think we want a second Return to Battle. so I guess take the Visits on the off-chance that our deck suddenly transforms into one that needs ramp, because we've committed to not having one that curves.
