I vote for Shazzeh.

Confused. A Land Creature I don't hate. I don't know how you did it. Makes for great wrath insurance, gives a little body to a spells-heavy deck and could even be an interesting card to build around; 4 2/2s for 0? Sure!

I would change the wording to:

Barren Manifest
Land (U)
As long as you don't control any other creatures, Barren Manifest is a 2/2 creature in addition to its other types.
: Add to your mana pool.

Just seems cleaner to make it a Land that becomes a Creature rather than a Creature that becomes a Land.

Indeed. This is far cleaner. It's still (sometimes) a land creature on the field, just never one in your deck. That cuts out some interactions, but I'm not too worried about making ramp spells miss this.

After mulling this over, I'm changing my vote to Confused. Sorry Shaz.

The wording that I suggested doesn't account for multiple Barren Manifests, though. But changing the word "other" to "nonland" fixes that problem right up!

Also, if no-one has any objections, I'm inclined to make it a 2/2 Scarecrow creature, just because that drives the flavor home so much better IMHO.

Anyway, Confused, please pick a rarity and write a criterion for the next round.

Seems like we are missing mid to high costed artifacts and the spoiler says that we are lacking in the uncommon slot. So,

Criteria: Uncommon Artifact (Creature or not) with mana cost 4 or more that can 'show other artifacts who is boss'. Interpret '' as you wish.
