When ~ enters the battlefield, destroy all artifacts and enchantments. Put a +1/+1 counter on ~ for each permanent destroyed this way.

It sees shaped stone and carved wood as mutilations.

Could have been four or five mana instead of six, or could have not been a rare.

Well, it's in the commander sets so the rarity doesn't actually matter.

Isn't rarity for a lot of those things based on the number of commander decks it appears in? Either way, this will be deadly against artifact decks, or comboed with enchanted evening.

Exactly. Scavenging Ooze could have been printed at Common originally and it still would have hit $40.

The rarity in Commander decks is usually used to denote new cards at rare, potential commanders at mythic.

This is the best non-commander card I've seen so far, and its still better than some of the commanders.
