A lot of the lines still need to be cleaned up and some of them need to be thinned / fattened... and of course the picture isnt done... but so far thats how it's lookin.

I got a new picture for you guys, now that I'm not super busy.
I drew this on Sunday and then uploaded it and digitally enhanced it. I decided to try and add some textures to it. I only started getting used to adding shadows and stuff, but I figured that I wanted to texturixe the fur more than usual. One thing I notice from this, when I work on the pictures, I work zoomed out. So when I think I'm done and upload stuff, I tend to be pleased. But when I look at them here, I realize just how "sticky out" everything is. For example (and I certainly don't work 'that' far zoomed out), compare my avatar version to the bigger version. This is mostly in regards to shading, I tend to woosh through it, but I figured I would point it out as something I'm working on working on
I call it Curious Absol. If you're surprised, Hi I'm altimis, and I like Absol

I drew this yesterday in-between classes. I had six hours and my homework only took five. Then I finished after school for another hour and a half (ish).
I'm working on another picture and Midna is part of it, and when I did the concept/outline (which is what I was supposed to leave it at). I ended up refining it, and doing base colors and refining it more such that I really only needed to shade it so I did. Then I threw some background together so it wasn't plain white and voila!
I have a horrible time leaving things unfinished, and while this isn't "finished" per se, it's finished enough that I can leave it for now.

So I updated my Midna picture. Well, it's not a "Midna" picture. It's going to be the background of my laptop, and Midna is part of it. I have half of the characters done now. Who is character number 2?
Two of my favorite characters. The pranking power is unreal. I still have two more characters to add, and if space permits I'll add one more (for some reason Absol is NOT in this piece, I need to fix that), then I have the background to do. In short I'm roughly 35 to 40 % done the entire piece.
That said, I really proud of how this portion turned out. I'm gonna go back and darken Rainbow Dash's eyes, so they stick out more. And I am either going to add some texture to Rainbow Dash's hair, or remove it from Midna's hair. I'm not sure which yet. I do want to touch up Midna some more, she is more unfinished than RD, but I would just be going over with new linework. I like the different colored lines approach, and I hate how the linework around her hair sticks out (plus one of her fingers is wider than the others and that seriously bugs me).
Unfortunately I won't get to draw for a while. I have a busy five days ahead of me so I'll see where that takes me. Plus, I have to prepare my halloween costume.
That's enough from me, enjoy! Comments & critiques are always welcome.

I think you could experiment more with depth, colors, and lighting. Right now most of your pieces use flat cartoonish colors, and while that isn't inherently a bad thing, it doesn't display a grasp of representative shading or color composition.
I don't have a grasp of shading or color composition and I'm not joking about that
Color I have better than shading, but shading is the worst thing just behind hands. I do need to just sit down and practice shading some time, my problem is the lack of time, and what time I do have I want to spend doing a picture, not practice. I had to fight for hours to draw even these pictures. Beyond that I haven't drawn anything for about a month. Between school and two jobs I am a bit lacking in my free time aka drawing practice. But it'll all be worth it soon.
But in short, I am aware, and that's something I'm conscious of and trying to work on. I do appreciate the comment!
