Deathtouch(Name needs work, please give a suggestion)

(This deck started out as I was making a mono black and ended up here)

10 Swamp
6 Forest
4 Golgari Guildgate
(deck has so many low mana threats, it doesn't really need 22 to 24 lands)

4 x Pharika's Chosen(1 mana deathtouch...prey upon with it and kill a 20/20, doesn't matter)
4 x Undying Evil(very useful and a kill trigger when paired with Agent of the Fates)
4 x Child of Night(With Undying and Titanic Growth, can do monumental heal/hurt)
2 x Agent of the Fates (Why I haven't seen anyone else run this, I'll never know)
4 x Giant Scorpion(are you starting to get the theme here?)
4 x Phyrexian Rager(not much, but oh well, it's a draw)
3 x Paragon of the Open Grave
1 x Shadowborn Demon
2 x Indulgent Tormentor

4 x Prey Upon(use this with agent on lower creature and kill 2 with one)
4 x Elvish Visionary(draw and fodder)
4 x Titanic Growth (Agent trigger, Child enhancer, more damage)

Cool idea. I think you should make it tri color and work a pair of Burning Anger into it. There's a lot of good symmetries with deathtouch, lifelink and the agent.

Does Agent's effect happen before Prey Upon? So could he just sacrifice the creature being targeted?

Is it a bug or working as intended?

That's a pity then, fun-looking combo.

Here's my revamped list which is 8-1 now including 1 Battle Mastery win. I lost just now to Baneslayer + Vizkopa Guildmage. (jesus christ)

GB "Blockade" (no premiums)
10 Forest
10 Swamp
4 Golgari Guildgate
-
4 Elvish Visionary
4 Satyr Wayfinder
4 Necromancer's Assistant
4 Devouring Swarm
4 Gravedigger
2 Indulgent Tormentor
3 Nemesis of Mortals
-
3 Spider Spawning
3 Rescue from the Underworld
3 Treasured Find
2 Beastmaster Ascension

I mulled to 6 that game, although there's not much my deck could have done differently in that situation except to play Spider Spawning. Unfortunately I didn't draw any.

edit: 9-1
edit: 10-1
edit: 11-1 and opponent had Battle Mastery
edit: *13-1
edit: *14-1
edit: *18-2

incredibly rude game. Opponent casts Genesis Hydra for 3, revealing 2 lands and a sorcery. I have 3 Elvish Visionary in play. Nothing much happening. Then he plays Inferno Titan, taking out my Visionaries. This could be bad! I have no way of killing the Titan with this deck! I play Nemesis of Mortal. What does he do? Plays two copies of Bolt of Keranos on it!! I play another Nemesis of Mortals. What does he do? Hunter's Prowess the Inferno Titan.

edit: *19-3
Satyr Hoplite + Lightning Talons

You need to add this to your signature :) Also, linking the actual lists would be VERY useful to newbies!

Spider Spawn

2 x Island
5 x Swamp
6 x Forest
4 x Dimir Guildgate
4 x Simic Guildgate
4 x Golgari Guildgate

3 x Hedron Crab

4 x Necromancer's Assistant
2 x Bloodghast
1 x Shadowborn Demon
3 x Rescue from the Underworld
2 x Rune-Scarred Demon
1 x Griselbrand

4 x Elvish Visionary
4 x Satyr Wayfinder
3 x Spider Spawning
3 x Nemesis of Mortals

2 x Blasting Station
3 x Treasured Find

A Blasting Station/Spider Spawn deck. It has two win cons:
1) Blast your opponent down by launching each spider at his face.
2) Stall your opponent out to the point of ragequit by the time it takes to manually untap the launcher every time it fires. Wee, 2015!

I cut the Cultivates I used to run for the Blasting Station. I really liked Cultivate, but I wasn't cutting a creature for a combo that ran solely off my creature count.

I used to run more Gravediggers like many of the people here, but ended up cutting them for Bloodghast. Bloodghast can get rid of token attackers/blocker by being launcher via Blasting Station, or can try and swing for 3 damage a turn. (One on the attack, then being fired by Blasting Station to the face.) You can even attack first, force your opponent's 3-toughness creature to block you, and then bring Bloodghast back and fire him at the wounded blocker!

I would like to fit Dinrova Horror and Gravediggers back in, and even Cultivate, but I wanted to run the absolute minimum amount of spells. Treasured Find is the only thing left to cut, and no thank you! Dinrova Horror was really cool for the flavour, since otherwise you splash blue solely for the Hedron Crabs, but they are so useful for self-milling that it's still worth it.

If anyone has some suggestions on what I could cut to get Dinrova back in, let me know! Thanks.

LOL @ reason #2. Man, it's the truth. I don't usually quit games but when I know I am losing and it is going to take another 3 hours to do so I'm out. ;P That or if the guy is show boating at the end instead of just going for the kill. I don't put up with nonsense, lol.

Quoted because I wanted to see the cards.

How often do you manage to get a crab online? At which turn usually?

T4-5 in average would be my guess, I've tried doing something similar. Crab is a beast here, but provides no early game against aggressive decks. You could also ditch the 2 Bloodghasts with Beastmaster Ascensions. They consistently win games with Spider Spawning, just drop it the turn after you play the spiders

I made a dumb Spider deck. I've been avoiding this forum for fear of "accidentally netdecking".
1 x Ulcerate
3 x Pharika's Chosen
2 x Dead Weight
3 x Phyrexian Rager
2 x Graveborn Muse
3 x Gravedigger
1 x Shadowborn Demon
1 x Griselbrand
3 x Rescue From the Underworld (this card is retardedly good)

3 x Elvish Pioneer
4 x Satyr Wayfinder
2 x Cultivate
3 x Spider Spawning
1 x Soul of Zendikar
1 x Pelakka Wurm
3 x Treasured Find

I know most people would run Nemesis of Mortals or Beastmaster Ascension in here but so far I really don't even need them. so far it's been stupidly effective, though i have been thinking of ditching Ulcerate and Dead Weight for Vicious Hunger to mitigate the suicidal nature of the deck w/r/t my own life total

I think it is worth splashing blue for hedron crab, that card is bonkers in multiples and will be the catalyst that wins you the game with mass spiders.

Blasting station actually sounds pretty fun and ill have to try it out, but it just seems a little win more because i usually only find myself with a couple creatures on board before my spiders go off, and by then im already securing the game. Its a shame blood ghast is stuck as a 2 of. Maybe some future dlc's will give us some reusable graveyard shenanigans like Gravecrawler

last night I swapped out the Indulgent Tormentors and Soul of Zendikar for Griselbrand and 2xNemesis of Mortals. now the deck just feels unfair. there were several games in which i even hardcast Gris.

wow, Mobius has really changed his deck around quite a bit. Pharika, Bloodflow, Elder, Sage, Gravedigger, Paragon and the guild gates...all new.

Rock, forgive my ignorance. What do you mean by "Battle Mastery"?

Battle Mastery is the name of the achievement for getting 100 wins online. You unlock a profile pic and the title "The Champion". If I play against someone using either of those then I like to take note of it.

Figured I'd post my Golgari masterpiece. This thing draws card even better than a blue deck. In fact, it draws so well that Hunter's Prowess got the axe.. as it sat in my hand as a dead drop several games in a row. Lots of ETB to abuse with Undying Evil and Rescue From the Underworld.

Resurrection (premium)

4 x Dead Weight
4 x Undying Evil
4 x Phyrexian Rager
2 x Graveborn Muse
1 x Shadowborn Demon
2 x Rescue from the Underworld.
3 x Flesh to Dust
2 x Rune-Scarred Demon
1 x Griselbrand

4 x Elvish Visionary
4 x Cultivate
2 x Arbor Colossus
2 x Garruk's Packleader
2 x Pelakka Wurm

This deck has no problem hard casting Griselbrand. It also has a lot of air defense/dominance, plenty of removal. Still moderately vulnerable vs Spider Spawning. Fitting a Suffer the Past or two in there would probably be a good idea.
