ugh. Lowlands sucks as a white source. I'd like fixing but I don't think I can justify the lowlands. then again all the other options suck too (I'm so not running skygames) so I guess take the Lowlands in case we decide we need it.

Or we can play the colorless burn card? a turn 1 vice will probably do 5-6 damage. Great against slow/goodstuff decks like these rando drafts.

Lowlands is not good.

I think this is an amazing runoff for us. Shield Bearer and Rod of Ruin are both great in our deck. In particular I'm surprised no one picked the colorless pinger.

I chose Arcane Melee over Near-Death Experience because it might actually be useful to somebody, so you might as well hate it out. It's probably not a big deal though.

Something like this. Magic Christmasland would be Snare Squad with Smoke and Oathsworn on the battlefield. The mana's shaky but there's technically 9 white sources, 8 red sources, and 3 blue sources, which seems about right.

I love how we have 8 decent removal spells in this pool plus pingers. Get a smoke out and your opponent will never untap a creature without it dying immediately.
The big decisions here are fast or slow and blue or nonblue. With all our removal + Kher Keep and Smoke I'm leaning toward control.

:blush: thanks. I was worried that there were too many high cost threats, but I guess it worked out. Also it's 41 cards due to a miscount I didn't feel motivated to correct.

I'd cut the snare squad. I'd much rather draw the blue sources and big fliers more often than a dinky 1/4 that needs to be attacking to be anything.

I see it as another method of getting the angel or the dragon out, thereby helping our "splash" or accelerating. It also works with su-chi, and I love the idea of cheating creatures into play with a stone giant out there and randomly dealing a crapton of damage to my opponent. It could easily be a Rod of Ruin in my list tho.

What's wrong with amulet. If you're top end is full its easily pseudo-ramp. Paying 4 to turn all your creatures into :4: flash creatures seems decent enough to me.

Tevish's deck contains three creatures that cost more than 4. same with rstnme's. if we count Lightning Angel as another threat that amulet helps us cast, that's 4 cards that do anything with Quicksilver Amulet. add to that that we really shouldn't be running Giant, and that's back down to 3. our top end is not, by any stretch of the imagination, "full".
