and tony, nobody thinks you're joking because you're a brick wall. If anybody makes a joke with you, you think they're trolling you.

Saying your "arguments" are bad isn't trolling.

i haven't actually played D&T in a long time but I remember burn being a pretty average matchup, i think you should win if i don't get to tap a Stoneforge Mystic

That seems fair. Do you have many ways to deal with a vortex?

the funny part is that burn doesn't have that much targeted removal so yeah, it should be pretty swingy.

I like Kamigawas flavor but some of the mechanics (flip cards, spiritcraft) are pretty bad.

Short of being kind of ugly I never thought they were that bad.

At least they're better than the double faced abortions from the Innistrad block.

You know, short of having to use a sleeve or a proxy, I liked that mechanic, and wish there were more.

it was not a good invention since it's basically required that you put your cards in sleeves

so it would be a pain in the ass to flip over, and many of the cards flip both ways (frequently) so its just a giant pain in the ass.

that mechanic was definitely made for mtgo

I loved the flip cards. I thought they were done very well. I can understand why people don't like them, especially the casuals, but I really liked them.

My top 5 favorite sets...hrm...

5. Ice Age.
4. Apocalypse.
3. Fallen Empires.
2. Innistrad.
1. Mirrodin.

Kamigawa gets a bad rap because it came right after mirrodin. Of course it felt underpowered when compared to the most powerful bl ock since urza. Even ravnica or time spiral would have looked underpowered in that position.

When you look at Kamigawa/rav standard, you can see that Kamigawa was actually pretty balanced.
