AND Given that it didn't pass, I'd argue that there were two rather than one. But that's speculation on my part.

Something I thought you guys would find interesting... As I'm going through the list of options for my team, from my perspective, the HAS to be a spy on proposal 2.3, and there cold possibly be two. That is also the only mission where someone hasn't included themselves on it; mown's mission.
Sure, you might not trust me, but knowing that there HAS to be a spy on that mission really clears some things up for me as I go through my lists.
Here are the things you know I'm going to say: I'm not a spy. Given what we know about what missions have failed we can eliminate certain spy teams.
Now, given what spy teams remain, there are either 1 or 2 spies on that mission. There can't be no spies, and there can't be three spies. Again, given that that mission proposal didn't succeed, I'd argue that there were two. If you take that logic, the difference between the two teams is Zherog and me.
That makes me suspect Zherog. For the second person, I'd guess either Roaring Mouse or bentz. RM because she did the same team with one change; bentz because he and teh team cold've been stalling for his turn to propose. The last person, is the biggest guess for me, and that would be Mown. Mown proposed a team without him on it expecting it to fail but not suspiciously so, meanwhile his teammates get a free I can vote whatever and throw people off card. Both of these facts makes me suspect bentz more than RM, but, fortunately for me, I only need to worry about making a four person team.

ok, I see that. I forgot to consider that town-alt's perspective says that one of Tiny/Mouse/bentz must be scum. I was looking at voting analysis and not seeing it.
anyway, yeah, from your perspective that's absolutely true. unless you're going to draw something more from it, though, I'm not seeing the point. you say it clarifies something for you, could you explain what that is?
Well, this could very well be the end of the game. I still don't know which one of my mission 1 teammates is a spy, but that doesn't even matter right now. And I don't know if I'll have the time to write an in-depth argument before this gets voted through, so I almost feel like calling this right now.
Now that this poll is officially over, it's time to congratulate Aaarrrgh for designing Hill, which has been decided by popular vote to be the Card of the Month for October 2013!

Not exactly clarifies, but it was something I figured was worth mentioning. It finally explains my nagging dislike for your team.

Well that's not the attitude to take, Aaarrrgh!
Anywho, I still stand by my stance of Aaarrrgh / Roaring Mouse / Bentz, so I'll be voting "yes" to this Mission group.
Spy teams with the most "I don't really know how to describe it" for Spy's Best Interest: ---xxx--- SQUINTY_EYES, SETINY, AAARRRGH ROARING MOUSE, SETINY, AAARRRGH BENTZ, SETINY, AAARRRGH
My top picks for spy teams are:
1) Squinty_eyes, seTiny, Aaarrrgh: This is the ONLY spy team to appear on both of my determining lists. That's enough suspicion for me. If you doubt me, look at all of the voting patterns with this team in mind and see what comes up. 2) Roaring Mouse, Bentz, Razorborne: This stands out to me as it is the one with the most "coordinated" team in showing appreciation for what spies want: One spy per team. 3) Zherog, Mown, seTiny: This is an alternate version of what I just gave you (my Zherog, Mown, Roaring Mouse/bentz theory), and its one that fits the remaining teams lists with appropriate levels suspicious activity.
What these charts mean: The big names are the proposed spy team. Underneath that is a number (out of 18) that represents how many votes, in total, those three people accumulated in the Spies BEST INTEREST. That means they voted yes when there was 1 spy on the team, and they voted no when there were no or 3 spies on the team. With the additional definition of any mission 3.X onwards can contain any number of spies beneficially for spies.
The '+' represents how many of the Top Voters can build into that spy team. In short, they represent how well the numbers reflect the spy team. For example: Spy team is ABC of five people voting the results are A=2; B=2; C=3; D=1; E=1. In this case ABC would get +++ because the highest numbers are the three members of the team. In contrast, if the voting ended up like this: A=2; B=0; C=1; D=3; E=4, then ABC would only get + because of the top voters ADE, only one overlaps with the proposed spy team. Obviously D and E aren't going to act in the best interest of spies, if they aren't spies. So a good spy team has +++.
Below that I list each mission proposal and names of people whom acted in the spies best interest for that mission. I tally up all the numbers in the top right, next to the proposed team name.
Mission proposals that were left blank indicate that there were two spies on that mission and that the spies best interest (keyword is best) was unobtainable, and thus I didn't cover those results as that gets very I think/you think very fast.
With all that said and done, in spite of the double appearance of squinty_eyes, seTiny and Aaarrrgh; I want to lean towards razorborne, bentz, and roaring mouse because they've all acted very suspicously, but that would mean constantly voting to have two spies on mission 2 (2.3 and 2.4). I wouldn't put two spies on two missions in a row like that, and pass it BUT look who voted it down both times: bentz and razorborne.
I'm not acutally considering my third option, but it's there for completeness (I don't like stopping with two).
After everything, I think bentz, razorborne, and roaring mouse form the spy team.

I should mention *excluding me* for what should be obvious reasons.
Should the next mission dawn, and my leadership be needed, my proposed team will be: Zherog, squinty_eyes, Mown, altimis. Me because I'm not a spy. Mown and Zherog because they are both not on my top two suspected spy teams. squinty_eyes because out of him, seTiny, and Aaarrrgh I trust seTiny the least, and I know squinty says he distrusts Aaarrrgh (and I don't know / haven't found Aaarrrgh's opinion on squinty). Because I don't want to start a potential 4 votes against, I picked squinty over Aaarrrgh.
The only other team I'd be comfortable with is one that follows the opposite of this (one where squinty, argh and setiny are the spy team). I'm not going to propose a team with that in mind, but I could vote for a team like: Zherog Mown razorborne altimis

I think you may have misspoke, you mean the next proposal, right? because if the next mission is up, then you should definitely include everyone from this mission.

Sorry I've been so quiet the last couple days, there's been a lot going on at work. I know my silence looks suspicious but my work schedule this summer has been much busier than I anticipated.
I'm in favor of this team. I picked tiny and bentz for my team because I trusted them. It was a toss up between Zhoreg and Alt and unfortunately I choose wrong. I would have picked razor as well if I had picked someone from Mission 1. I would like to be on the team but I understand that I am not high on the trusted list right now.
Please believe me when I say that this team will kill us. If you believe there is even the slightest possibility that I am resistance, this team will end the game. Don't take that risk.
Now that this poll is officially over, it's time to congratulate Aaarrrgh for designing Hill, which has been decided by popular vote to be the Card of the Month for October 2013!
Votes: Zherog: No squinty_eyes: Yes Mown: No Roaring Mouse: No* - I did not get a vote from RM, so it defaulted to "no" bentz: No razorborne: Yes altimis: No seTiny: No aaarrrgh: Yes
Result: With 3 Yes cards and 6 No cards, the mission is rejected.
Votes: Zherog: Yes squinty_eyes: No Mown: No Roaring Mouse: Yes bentz: No razorborne: No altimis: No seTiny: No aaarrrgh: No* - I did not get a vote from Argh, so it defaulted to "no"
Result: With 2 Yes cards and 7 No cards, the mission is rejected.
And, with a vote of 7-2, the second proposal for the 3rd mission passes.
Here's where I would normally ask everyone to send in their cards...However, I did get one already from someone when they voted, and, since there's no reason for the spies to allow this to pass...since there is a spy on the mission...it's a failure - and the spies win!
Do you all want me to post who the spies are, or continue with the mystery?
Oh - and, from a mod standpoint, I'm thinking that any game with this many players needs to have people with abilities, or it's just too darn hard from the resistance - not to take anything from the spies, since they did a great job...

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe those plot card things that were brought up in the setup thread.
