I guess it is the Schoolmaster although I can see an argument for Frogtosser (and not just because of the name)

Runebinder. Turns dead guys into undead guys, then buffs all our undead guys.

Sorry not sure what is going on my page clearly didn't update. Anyway for me I think Runebinder. It's a very strong card although it is a magnet for removal.

At this point I don't see how we can pass a blue playable card, so runebinder.

Runebinder, although Slayer also looks useful.

Apparently we went monoblue while I was asleep, so Havengul Runebinder.

Laquatus is a Merfolk, but I don't think we really want it. Stonework Puma might be nice if some of those Allies get back.

Ambassador looks pretty bad.
We could tread into white with Changeling Sentinel.
I don't think we'll be getting into allies.

I think Sentinel might be ok here.

Ambassador pais well with Runebinder. Not sure if he's good for much else though. We don't have any mill yet. Could take a chance on grabbing some though.
I'd rather take a chance on Descendant's Path- thing's nuts in tribal. Even if we don't run it, taking it here means one of our opponents won't.

Path looks like it'll whiff more than half the time... I'm guessing it'll need at least three tries to net one card, at which point it's still not card advantage.

Take laquatus. Any cards that provide inevitability are worth considering, and he already fits into our tribe. Basically if we have him and 6 mana and some creatures on the board we win.

If this was an earlier pick I'd be sure Laquatus would wheel. But I think we will only wheel the red aura.
Puma is playable, changeling might be splashable.

But I kinda like the Ambassador with the Runebinder, and 40 card multiplayer games can naturally end on mill condition. Oh, and it's repeatable.

Ambassador. A 1/3 on turn 3 will help us survive the onslaught of goblins and allies until we drop our Merfolk emblems. Plus he's a colorless mana sink. He could easily mill 6-9 cards every game he comes down. 40 cards - 12 draws - 9 mill leaves our opponent with a less than half their deck. Plus he's buffed by our tribal. Also, this is a tribal cube, so we should focus on a tribe. We don't have any allies, and most likely won't have any really worth running. We need to focus on more merfolk, with a secondary emphasis on wizards and maybe rogues.

Tough choices. I think Benthicore is better than Counterspell in multiplayer, but I wouldn't be unhappy with Counterspell either.
