I have moved into the sixth circle of hell, and I know what ability this circle has.
Whenever you vote for another player, you get a vote against you.

As a quick test on the wording: Vote: altimis
Nobody else vote for me at least until after the first vote count is updated.

I moved there too, maybe players in this circle should just use fingers of suspicions until their final vote of the day?

I would reccomend it. The only thing I'm unsure of, is whether the votes count or not.
I mean, I know they did in the vote counts, but what if that was for show? aka What if once the threshold was reached that person simply didn't die?

I doubt this is the case, but it is a possibility.

yeah I made the same mistake. I thought we were supposed to move after the canto ended, so I waited until then to send it in. apparently I was wrong.

iirc, soup claimed to be in the sixth yesterday and only self voted, while not netting extra votes. So the assumption that it's other players lends itself to being correct, but confirmation with alts self vote definitely won't hurt.

Now that we have successfully failed to lynch, I don't really feel like the game state has changed any. Unless anybody has some hidden information they think is going to change the entire way we view the game, I suggest we try harder to lynch today.

Yeah zherog called me alphabet soup in another game. I'm soup and 15377 is numbers for future reference.

I'm in 6 as well. I'm in full agreement with numbers that we need to get a lynch.

So...we need to chat about Argh. I've not got the time tonight to go through his posts, but I'll be doing that in the morning.

What are peoples thoughts on that? I've so many questions and thoughts about this game, but, some are really out there. I'm not trying to restart "outguess the mod" but, we really need some more info to get us started.

I hope to spend some time tomorrow re-reading and posting thoughts.

Was Aaarrrgh onto anything really?
His death seems really out there from what I can see. Does it have anything to do with what circle he was in (Gluttony)? I doubt there would be anything so harsh as that as a circle ability.

The only thing I can really think of was that maybe he was the last person to post (I mean triggering the 120 hour countdown)? I am looking into that as well, because I think he was. That's not a comfortable feeling.

Not Edit: As far as I can tell he was the last person to post before the countdown started.

I don't recall who (Scarlet?) but someone proposed that Dante and/or Lucifer may have an NK-like ability. that's my current best guess for what happened to Aaargh.

I agree with that, but I was under the impression that they both did.
Either one person has an NK ability; or
Two people have it and both targeted Aaarrrgh.
Three, there could be a healing role.

Those are the top suggestions I have, there are also combinations of people not wanting to NK, so really nothing is confirmed except that there are ways for people to die outside of lynching.

I'm still confused. So, Argh got killed (raised, whatever). He was divine. So, my assumptions are either Lucifer killed him, or Dante "freed" him. I guess it all depends on what has to happen before Lucifer/Dante get lynched. I'm also going on the assumption that killing Lucifer/Dante requires something other than a majority - it could be a higher percentage, or something else (specific people killed) before lynching.

I'll claim now, having no idea if this is something good to claim or not. I'm inferno aligned. So, my game goal is to lynch Dante. I've said this already, I've dropped to the 6th circle, getting closer to my home in the 5th circle.




Numbers, this is not what I was saying. I clearly said that I knew that Razor had a drawback, but I was not sure if that was due to the circle he was in, or the circle I was in. That was the point of the test. It seems clear now that it was due to the circle he was in, which he claims to be sixth. So, my working assumption is that it has to do with the number of vote you throw out, since that seems to be the only thing that works out. But, Alt is in the 6th, and, when he self voted, he only had 1 vote on him, which, looks like it's impacting him differently from Razor. If those assumptions are correct, then Alt (assuming he got the same penalty that Razor got) is not taking penalties. Since, if he was (and I'm correct) he should have had 2 votes against himself via the self vote.

Again, this leads to my theory that Alt is inferno aligned, and is not taking any penalties from being in that circle, and Razor is divine aligned, and taking the penalty.

According to my PM, Razor is still in the 6th circle, which seems odd to me - if it were me, and by voting I had a ton of vote put on me, I would want to move. Razor - can you shed any light on why you stayed where you are?

Right now, Numbers and Razor are tops in my list for whom to lynch. Razor, since I believe his divine aligned, and Numbers, who seems to just be running to the defense of Razor, without any real reasons. Yeah, I had weak reasoning on Canto 1, but I feel it's gotten stronger here.

Assuming I don't have 2-3 votes against me at the next count, then I think that proves that there's something very different about Razor and I.

Keep in mind I mentioned that when you vote for another person, that's also the reason why I tested it.
I forgot that rstnme was in the sixth circle when he did the same thing; I'm glad I double-checked all the same.

As such, hoping I survive that long, my goal is to go down by one circle each canto and find out what I can. At the same time, anyone in 6th circle I'd suggest you move up because that circle is known to be fairly "beneficial" if you could call it that? I'd say less detrimental as it requires you getting voted first, but it's better than getting a vote whenever you vote which will be bad later on when the lynch thresholds get significantly lower.

That being said, I will refrain from voting for the time being until we have a case on some one, or two people. And as awkward as it is, I don't want to out people whom are quiet mostly because while they are quiet they are also prolonging the day. It certainly is a double-edged sword, but for now we need time to figure things out.

I personally want to know more about Scarlet though. What circle did you choose last round? This round? Next round?
I don't expect much, but anything would do for me.

Aaaarrrgh said he was in the third circle and there were others there. He confirmed Scarlet was there as well. I stayed in the fourth circle and only Scarlet is here with me.
