It's reasonable to count either interpretation, which is why I find it to be silly to be pedantic about it.

Still need dice that can calculate the "best of"

4d6b3 = Four d6 but only calculate the best three.

I spent the day working on things here and have a bunch of little improvements to note. Nothing really major here, but all changes people requested at some point, and all nice to have (in my opinion).

  • You can specify image size in the img tag now:
    example
  • The button for mc in the post editor now has mana symbols instead of 'mc' to make its function clearer
  • Oversized avatar images are automatically resized to be under the maximum size. (if they're over a certain large size, they're still rejected, so the server doesn't keel over from trying to resize a 100MB image or something).
  • Added a Forward button for PMs. It behaves basically like "Quote" but doesn't fill in the "To" field
  • Added an option for marking PMs as read. When viewing a PM folder, at the bottom right there's a dropdown with some things you can do to PMs. One of them is "Mark as read".
  • When sorting a table, if everything in the column you're sorting by is a number, it will sort numerically rather than alphabetically.
  • Added links at the top of each page to where you can view your bookmarked/subscribed threads.

Yes, I know, you want "best of" dice rolls. That is... about 3rd on my list of things-to-do right now, but everything in front of it should be fairly quick to do. It's coming! I swear!

Specifying the image size is awesome, thanks Welder. You do an amazing job, man.

any chance the sblock stacking issue is one of those easy fixes? you'd just have to copy over the code from the spoiler tags, which stack fine. for reference:

Yes! Thanks for the button. I was just looking at that earlier and thinking, "Oh that's cool. Did they change the mc button because I suggested it a while ago? I thought they didn't go for that one. Now where's the mc button? I need to tag some mana symbols...". And then I rushed over here to thank you.
THe image resizing will save some headaches too. The other stuff's probably cool but doesn't effect me really.

Yep! :) Over the past few days I went through the whole thread (and the bug report one too) and pulled out every unaddressed request that was at least a little serious, and now I'm working through the list. Just doing the quick/easy things now, then larger projects (of which, yes, "best of" dice rolls is the first).

but now my post looks silly because the two are the same. I demand you change it back.

did you know that if you rearrange the letters in Welder, you get El Drew? is GobO_Welder really a spanish dude named Drew? and why has he been so silent on these shocking allegations?

Welder claims to be a GobO, but only one year ago Welder claimed to merely be training to be a GobO. Which one is it MR.Welder?

Hey Welder, any chance we can bump the number of options on a poll for YMtC's Card of the Week?

Probably not for a while, thanks for reminding me. It just came up in YMtC, and since you've been so quick to respond, I thought it'd be best to just ask than try out posts just to check. Thanks, Welder!
