Is that the inside cover? I like its departure from the big exploding scenes.

It would be amazing if that was the cover, but no.

I enjoy the watercolor feel to it and the minimalist aspects.

I wonder what changed over time with regard to fantasy art. I feel like quality has definitely improved. Is it the game design companies and people have more money to hire better artists or is it that there are more artists who are exploring fantasy art, thus expanding the pool of talent in the genre? Both.

I know that digital tools have defiantly got a lot more people on the scene through things like DeviantArt and such. There are some absolutely fantastic pieces of fantasy art on DA done by just random people who arent even artists by trade just learned as a hobby.
