The amount of threads per page can be changed in the settings. I think I have mine at 50-100 (whichever is max, I can't remember, lol). To be honest, the only reason I think it is best to have individual threads for each mono/dual/tri-colored decks is due to the fact that a thread with a bunch of different colors put together will just end up being a complete jumbled mess. People will be talking about
and
and
, etc., etc. all at once and before you know it no one knows who is talking about what. Things get lost in the dust very quickly and the thread has no concise path to go forward on. It's like Garren's chaos method, except within a thread instead of on the outside.
Even though having them separate will be more threads on the main page, as Neo and I discussed, that is the main priority of the DotP forum to begin with, to discuss deck strategies within the game. Plus we will have the stickied "Deck Thread Links" thread at the top. So if something is on another page it is very easily found by the sticky.
I think anything else will really end up not working nearly as well and we can stay focused and on-topic with individual threads. The other ideas are not bad, well, maybe some are *looks over at Garren* (lol), but I still think the individual approach is by far the most orderly and best way to go about things from what I have read so far.
