The sarcastic comment that people are getting around to adding each other now when I'm not online much, instead of the eight months of the site's existence prior to that situation, is an entirely legitimate sarcastic blurb. Do kindly take the bitter attitude and condescending comments elsewhere.

Has anyone played Sunless Sea?

I keep seeing it pop up on steam, but its still in 'late beta' and at a wopping $18.99, which is way to much to throw down on trying something out.

it's super diff from the last game though? isn't the last game an fps basically and this is a survival horror. i watched people playing through a demo and it gave me anxiety just watching people play. it's very outlasty though including the hiding in lockers part, although i think outlast's encounters with enemies are more scripted while this game has scripted encounters but otherwise, the xenomorph wanders and hunts you freely.

I wouldnt mind a game with the xenomorphs just wandering about the ship / station randomly and hunting me. Let me wander through the saturn station from Dead Space 2 with aliens chasing me in fact.

That sounds horrifying. How about an open world aliens game where you fly around in space and investigate junk, and random xenomorphs and crap are around. Eventually you find out that everyone in the universe is dead except you, because aliens are op.

I wasn't a fan of Outlast, I mean, the beginning had its moments, but by the end it was just painfully so-so.
