Excerpts from
Walking Archive's job interview:
Interviewer: Well you appear to have excellent references, but what about your non-fiction collection?
Walking Archive: I have extensive historical records as well as theoretic Izzet texts. I even have a small collection of legal treatise published by Azor himself (not the originals of course).
Interviewer: I see, and what would you consider your greatest strength?
Walking Archive: Well right now it is only 3, but I have great growth potential in the long term.
Interviewer: That's great, we're looking for long term investments at the Fblthp Memorial Library.
Walking Archive: May we always be found.
Interviewer: May we always be found. What would consider your greatest weakness?
Walking Archive: I lack the energy to put myself out there. Once I get started somewhere I just kind of stay in one place. Which can be good if you are looking for a long term employee I guess, but it has somewhat limited my career potential.
Interviewer: I see. It says you left your last job due to "health hazards"
Walking Archive: Yes, I was forced to leave my post at the Reformed Fblthp New Memorium Library, may we always be found...
Interviewer: May we always be found.
Walking Archive:...because the
new management refuse to file for the proper disposal techniques of a
parasite colony. It was the last straw for me, not only was I being forced to work in hazardous conditions, but I absolutely can not stand papers not being in order. So I sent in my resignation three years ago and it was provisionally approved just three months ago.
Interviewer: Yes, it says it right here on your resume. Now I am going to ask you somewhat of a sensitive question: Do you think that moving from a reformed Fblthp to an orthodox Fblthp, may we always be found...
Walking Archive: May we always be found.
Interviewer:...be a problem for you?
Walking Archive: It shouldn't be a problem at all, that was just a job, this is just a job for me. I have my beliefs, and if I let every new theory about the Second Great Crowd disturb me, then I wouldn't truly be Found would I? I am a professional, and if I am working with other professionals, I don't expect any problems.
Interviewer: Well that clears up everything we needed to know. You seem to be exceedingly qualified for the position, expect paperwork in the next six to eight months with our decision.
Walking Archive: Thank you very much for your time.
