I always feel like such a jerk when I say this, but this character just doesn't click for me. I just have certain cold-prickly buttons related to things like children who kill, and she pushes those buttons.

It's not her; it's me.

But just because she doesn't fill me with warm fuzzies isn't indicative of any kind of creative failure. The character is totally fine, and her stories work for her really well.

So the only important thing here is that I'm voting "yea" and I'm happy about that vote. She just won't be on my Christmas card list, is all.

I'm in a similar boat to OL I think though maybe not as extreme. This character is... upsetting, in a lot of different ways, and so are her stories. I think this is an envelope we can dare to push, though, particularly since you're treating this in a way that isn't, in my opinion, exploitative, which is HUGE.

I'm considering whether it might make the most sense to list the stories in the archives as an interconnected trilogy, since they make the most sense together. Possibly putting them in the same archive thread and giving them a single story box on the wiki. What do you think about that?

I think that would be a good idea. I'll see if I can't come up with a snazzy title for the trilogy (something better than "Lourima's Wanderings", which is a half decent fallback) for the archive thread and wiki entry

"Sad, Sadder, and Saddest"?

(Although, that really just makes me think of Buster with his trophy from Motherboy XXX: "Saddest!")

Should be "by and large".

I think this is at least a decent exploration of a pure :b: character. I am honestly a little hard-pressed to think of singularly-colored characters in our Archives, so at least in that sense she is a good addition. I have a hard time relating to such a character, but I can at least understand her. I think that I may be experiencing the same feelings as OL on her.

I really like this character, and I think she as a lot of narrative potential moving forward. There are a TON of potentially fascinating interactions between her and other M:EM 'walkers. She certainly gets a "Yea" from me.

Though I will point out that this is yet another 'walker with a surname beginning in "V"...
