I'm going to go ahead and assume that rolling a natural 1 is going to be bad for me. The question is: How bad?

Honestly, this game has no real requirements on crits and critical failures. Of course, I haven't looked at the game thread yet.

Does the pump have to be manned to work, or is it the kind where once you start it, it keeps going until the tank is full?

Hmmm... Good question, I could see it either way, with modern pumps having automatic shut-off and a... latch? to temporarily keep it pumping.

...Can't say I'm familiar with older styles.

So, I began to look it up, but I couldn't find out when they were introduced to see if this would have had one. Due to this, and not having enough info, I'm gonna flip a coin.

1: Yes, it can be done automatically once set
2: No, it must be manned the entire time

I don't want to drop. And if this game keeps going past August, I should be able to dedicate more time to it then. So I'll keep up as much as I can for now.

Alright, good to know. Even if it's just something small and quick, just post your intentions for your character and we can try and keep him moving and up to date with the group during your absences.
