I would hope so. Just lobbing M-80s over the fence again?

Same idea. It goes back to the days when fireworks weren't heavily restricted, and you might throw them over the fence into your neighbors yard to startle them with a thunderous BOOM!

My Grandpa did that at work one day to dissuade a fellow truck driver from laying down and sleeping on the break bench.

I was only half trolling. I played red deck wins at an FNM a couple of times and wanted to quit magic afterwards. It was awful

I would think playing at FNM by itself would make you want to quit. Not a very friendly atmosphere from what I've heard.

my local game store's FNM was awesome

tons of really friendly people that mostly didn't get mad at a 12 year old (me)

I still think about playing magic just to go down and play FNM there but I lost my passion for magic

I actually prefer to play aggro in 1v1. I'd rather get beat down in five minutes than have to suffer for an hour while some jerk tries to figure out how his permission deck is actually going to kill me. I get more games in that way.

Yeah, kind of. That shouldn't shock anyone, though.

I gravitate to cards aesthetically, so no.

That said, my favoured strategy is the classical :w: weenie deck with plenty of immobilatory and :w: removal spells, and unbelivably enough most tests showcase me as being at least part- :w:, so...

My favorite deck is whatever people aren't playing, usually.

I always design my own decks. I think that's telling. Even decks that I've honed for years, like my vintage ubastax list and then monobrown stax/aggro are usually at least one or three cards off from the current "optimized" list.

My favored strategy is stax. Always. I am always on the lookout for prison elements and/or recurring graveyard threats, and ways to enable those. I like interactive games, but the tools I use are usually more proactive than interactive. I prefer Sphere of Resistance to Wrath of God. I prefer Etherium Sculptor to Dark Ritual. I prefer Gifts Ungiven[card] to [card]Ancestral Recall. I love making balanced effects lopsided, like Leyline of the Void + Ill-Gotten Gains, or Aether Vial + Standstill.

I've always been fond of useless combos. Leyline of Singularity and Mirror Gallery, Eon Hub and Paradox Haze, though Maralen of the Mornsong and Mindlock Orb is actually kind of horrendous to sit across from. Particularly fun after clearing the field with no other cards in hand.

Is it possible to tell a person's personality by what they eat?

You might be able to pull a few generic things, but not that much.

It's not possible to get enough for a hannibal lecture, but the way a person plays their favorite deck(s) can be telling for how they conceptualize the game, as well as what it means to play a game.
I personally enjoy board altering cards, like Mycosynth Lattice or Warp World, especially if they make a sub-optimal card relevant. Vandalblast, or Furnace Dragon for instance. It's so much fun making people fear dumb cards.

I think I like to not think, I always draft bleeder decks, land denial or stax in cube.

Although I prefer suicide aggro in 1v1, in multi-player I actually play either bleeder/attrition like drain and multiple sweepers, or else resilient decks like graveyard recursion/bounce with EtB, or token decks w/recursion elements. Have a couple decks even that combine both attrition and resiliency. Not sure what that 'says' about me.

I think one's deck-building preferences say something about them, but it's hard to draw any sort of solid conclusion.
One thing I notice about new MTG players is that, even though they may decide on their first deck arbitrarily (my friend had these extra cards, the black intro pack looks the coolest) they tend to develop a love of that particular deck type. I for one will always have a soft spot for allies and I wouldn't be suprised if it's where my fascination with etb triggers and weenie swarms comes from. People can also react similarly to a deck that really made a strong impression on them (ex. the first really good deck they saw, the Pro Tour winner at the time) and fall in love with those archetypes.
It's like dream interpretation- there's too much individual meaning behind deck choice to make any real analysis possible.
