Good time for lore seeker?
Not sure if you can grind that and still get the effect.

Ha with world knit we should pick like a shards pack.

If I'm thinking about this right, Lore Seeker would add another round to the draft where we draft just one pack. Effectively, we will get a 2-mana 2/2 that can potentially allow us to draft a bomb or at worst boost our Grinder up 2 tics. I think this is fine.

I agree, shards would basically add nothing to the drafters' pools but might add two cards to ours.

So: Lore Seeker and a Shards pack works for me.

Yeah, draft the Seeker, but THE PACK WE WANT IS ALARA REBORN. It's the most powerful pack in the block and the cards are harder on color for everyone else, since everything is gold.

I don't know the shards expansions, my suggestion was not specific. So alara reborn if that's the consensus.

ARB sucks compared to MM -- Modern Masters is pure, diluted playable. Dunno why we'd be at all attached to Alara block other than a lulzy "Hai guys, we can use any color"

Basically because it would work for us and not for everyone else. Every card basically has no colors for us, and we can grind the unplayables. Everyone else in the table will struggle trying to grab things in color. MM will help everyone, not just us. Again, we don't need more playables. We'll just nab bombs and grind the rest (taking shrieker was a mistake, btw).

Nab the Lantern to go with the Wolves.

Shrieker was not a mistake I don't know how you can think that. We have some amazing creatures that benefit from double-strike, not just the wolves. It is always playable, and I've used it to win many games. Well, I've played 8 games of Conspiracy, but I've got like 5-6 wins and 2-3 second places so

I agree that not grinding Shreiker was a mistake, and also that... I didn't notice this was the lantern pack. we NEED that thing if we want half a dozen of our picks to resemble useful in the long haul, and half a dozen mid-picks not being dreck are probably worth more than a bonus first pick.

Though I'll accept the "screwing everyone else over" argument for Alara Reborn if we DO grab the seeker.
