I think what Lily wants is a quick link on the main page to the "view subscribed threads" page in the UCP. or at least, I think that would be functionally identical to what she wants. which was something I was gonna ask too.

also Lily you can apparently bookmark threads instead of subscribing so you don't get emails, at least according to Aaaargh.

Whenever someone talks about Aaarrrgh, I like to imagine that they're actually about to say someone else's name and then just as they get to that name they're dragged under their desk by some sort of swamp creature.

good question. a quick test reveals it to be the latter: in the UCP, "manage bookmarks" is right below "manage subscriptions".

Bookmarks are just through your UCP but they shouldn't actually email you or anything.

You can always bookmark it in your broswer for fast acess

Could the wiki discussion get its own subforum? Like a wiki planning subforum or something?

I ask because it's been at the top of every subforum for slightly more than 3 weeks. And it still seems to be a fairly important thing to discuss long term. But it's no longer an announcement.

Really not sure a whole subforum is needed at the moment since like... barely anyone is actually using the wiki at this point.

I also don't know about other forums, but YMtC got a thread asking what we wanted out of the wiki, maybe putting those elsewhere might be a good idea as well, so individual communities can address their needs.

Yeah, that's in the works. I'm prioritizing the communities that already seem to be making some use of the wiki or that I think would benefit the most from the wiki or that the site as a whole would benefit the most from encouraging which at the moment is the creative communities like YMTC and Play By Post. (M:EM is already well established.)

It's more likely that he changed it before you posted it than in the rather marginal amount of time it takes for your web browser to communicate with the nga servers when clicking the submit button.

only if you count "posting" as only the time between hitting submit and the results going up. I think it's reasonable to include the time spent composing the post.
