We are awfully low on bodies.

Dreams. THat card is just too cool. I don't even care if there's a good reason no to take it.

has anyone bothered to count how much madness we actually have?

because the answer is 5. we have 5 madness cards. Chu, you've drafted this set a bunch, is that as bad as I think it is?

It's not that bad. The madness cards you really want are Arrogant Wurms. The more you get the better your deck is. Circular Logic is just okay but not getting Rootwallas is the problem. That card is actually pretty important for the deck.

Nostalgic Dreams is good but not in this deck. It's better in slow midrange decks in which you draw a bunch of lands and you want to rebuy your business spells.

This is a pretty weak madness deck. In my opinion it is missing probably the best (non-rare) for the deck, which is Roar of the Wurm. Arrogant Wurm is nearly as good but not quite as good. We have no rootwallas, only two frantic searches and no bombs. This is going to be a tough deck to win with.

As for this pick I am going to go for the back-up option of storm. Temporal Fissure is not a great storm card but given that we could comfortably storm count 3 or 4 with this then it's something.

I feel like it's the 4/5, right?

Roar isn't necessary for a good Madness deck.

Wurms are.

I think Druid. guide is our only way to turn it on but even off it's a 2/2 for 2 and that's ok. certainly better for us than 4-mana 3/2s.

One of my favorite things I've done in this format is Animate Dead my opponent's Dreampod Druid. The card is actually pretty nuts.

Grunts seems good. I'm not sure how often we want it turn 3, but once we're out of gas anyway an extra 3/4 can't hurt.

Triangle of War

Time to Feed without lifegain is still good when your critters are bigger than theirs. I don't want to spend two turns casting a 3/4 that gets repelled or turned into Saprolings.
