A lot of stuff, and I'm not even really sure for some of it. Actually, it'll require me to find images for some characters and learn how to add info boxes, place location images for cities, etc.

Just be mindful of copyright stuff when it comes to outside images of course.

You'll have to write infoboxes but I think that should be a relatively intuitive process.

What kind of infoboxes would you be using? Ones for characters and locations I assume...

Also, what's the uh... well, point of Squinty's Sandbox? What's your end goal? Just to put it out there as a setting? Or do you want to optimize it for people to play with, i.e. put suggestions for DMs and that sort of thing?

It's just a setting and a persistent world.

So... what's your actual goal in putting it on the wiki? Exposure? A way of keeping your players informed?

To be honest, it wasn't my idea to put it on there. A mod asked me to begin working on it so there was an example of a sandbox world on the wiki for launch. It is useful in some ways for the players to be able to see world customs and the Google Spreadsheet map for relative locations, and read up on cities, but it wasn't my idea to have it up there.

Yup, and it was my first ever attempt to do a wiki article, much less an entire web of articles for a single world. It was daunting to begin working on it, and since I've put it aside in favor of some other projects. That and the nature of Play by Post means it could be years before someone reaches another city.

A lot of the code for the forum works in the wiki as well, so it might be less work than you think.

No, it's an old project from another site that did an entire world view of a possible Other Earth. He'd be working to port all of it over for a single World setting.
