I want to play too!

Also, we could add Plot Cards! Basically, when a team is approved, the leader of the team draws (or gets sent by the the GM) one or two cards with special rules, which he then gives to other players. Some of the cards have straight positive effects (You get to know another player's alignment), some have straight negative effects (You have to announce openly if you are approving or rejecting a mission before others vote), or can be either based on situation (You have to reveal your alignment to a player of your choice). I think these are easier to run than the special characters, since they are all made public, and most of them are one-off effects. But Neo, if you don't want them in this game, I'll probably volunteer to run the next one, and use them then.

To be honest, I don't actually like the 5 and 6 player dynamics all that much.

the one thing I think would be annoying about 9 or 10 players is that the numbers don't make it so you have to have identified every spy exactly to win the last round. you can exclude a loyalist.

I'm not sure if I've ever heard of someone who actually likes to play with the plot cards, so I have no experience with them.

Of course, we wouldn't have to run the exact real cards. I think I know how I would use them, but I'll keep that for when I'm running a game. Let's keep this one vanilla.
