Funny thing - I went to type "define crackfic" into the Guggles, but the Guggles accidentally auto-completed it as "define crack fiend," which is now in my browser history at work.

This was exceedingly excellent. I smiled the whole way through, but I'm with Keeper. Fisco asked about her age made me genuinely laugh. That was fantastic!

Yes, she will be receiving a fully armed and operational cybernetic battle-flamingo named Flamingar, the Pink Death shortly. It will be a fiercely loyal beast, with aesthetic enhancements that increase it's adorability level by 100%.

Aloise will feed it treats and gently but firmly disallow it from disintegrating people who are rude to her.

No one ever accused me of following instructions very well.

Honestly, I think the interplanar party being broken up by a rabid, cybernetically enhanced flamingo is the only way for this gathering to end.

I mean, any other options are just ridiculous.

The irony about that is actually absolutely thick enough to cut, though you guys have no clue why yet.
Which is something of a shame, because it's a great moment between the two.

Honestly, this is part of my favorite thing about all of this. You have my deepest apologies - and that's even before I realized that you own a bunch of swords!

I'm sure that Raef cleaned the blade very thoroughly with his napkin.

(Maral would have been a hoot at this party, too, as would so many other characters. I tried to keep the guest list to 'walkers who have already met Aloise, just for the sake of my own sanity.)
