Demetri dashes to the side of the store and makes his way towards the door while listening for signs of life inside.

It sounds all quiet inside. No sounds yet, not even a moan from the zombies walking towards you guys. They haven't begun to run yet, which is a little strange compared to the last group you encountered.

Demetri taps on the glass three times with his pistol and then listens for a response.

Demetri tries the door handle and if it is unlocked opens the door quickly and immediately takes a step back. Once again listening and searching for any response in the building.

Demetri opens the door and jumps back a bit (probably not even the full 5 foot square), but nothing comes out. He can see the store inside, some blood on the floor and a few of the items on the shelves knocked over, but nothing moves.

Everyone hears the zombies by the edge of the woods begin to groan.

Gary kept looking over his shoulder waiting for Demitri to enter the gas station. Frustrated with the wait he decided to start some action. "Back me up Mack," Flashlight in hand he moved into start smacking heads again...

Gary smash!

Gary! Wait! What are you... Oh, crap.

Mack quickly gathers his knives, and steps out of the car to have a better field of vision and unhindered throwing. He stays close to the car, though, so that he can get back in if he needs to get away.

Gary smacks the zombie upside the head and it reels back for a moment.

Demetri cautiously steps inside the store and heads towards the counter is there is one, looking for any sort of control for the pumps but also keeping an eye out for car keys.

Demetri walks into the store and behind the counter. Nothing moves. You will see that there is no controls for the pumps, they're quite old and they worked on the old system of the workers coming out, pumping your gas for you and taking your money while you wait in the car. What you do find behind the counter:

(1) Shotgun on the floor (loaded with 5 shells)
(2) Box of shotgun shells under the counter (3 more remaining)
(3) Cigarettes on the wall behind the counter (10 cartons, less 4 packs)
(4) Lighters on the counter (9 of 'em)
(5) Cash Register on the counter
(6) House Key under the counter

Demetri quickly gathers up the shotgun and the box of shells and sets them on the counter where he then shoves a few handfuls of the lighters into his pants pockets. He gathers up the weapon and the rounds again and quickly makes for the door. Once outside he nods and motions to the others that the pumps should be working (if they havent figured out so already)

Gary nods, running back to get the pumps going.

Mack's chin drops for a moment. Gary! Don't just, I mean, why would you... He shakes his head, and prepares a steak knife for throwing. Nevermind, I've got it.

Gary begins to pump the gas. It will take 1 minute 30 seconds to fully tank up.

A zombie approaches Mack, Mack may make a free attack since he was ready for it last round.

Demetri moves quickly into position at the rear of the car, a few of the lighters jabbing into his thighs at weird angles as he runs, and waits to see which way the pair of creatures seem to be going. He sets the box of rounds down on the trunk and grips the shotgun in both hands firmly should he need to use it to bash.

Mack throws the knife he's prepared with a quick flick of his wrist, sending it toward the zombie's face.

Mack throws his knife at the zombie. Or, at least he will tell people he did. He certainly won't tell them that he flicked it off into the woods waaaaaaaay over the zombies.

"Isn't this were the hoard shows up? No? Pity. You'll wish it was that time!" He ran the same route that he had ran and backtracked from earlier in order to further the zombies headache... If they got headaches.
