Things started fast, but now froze.

Whew, I've got 11 messages in my outbox now. One good thing, I learned how to use the messaging system

ok screw whoever picked Alliances, while picking random stuff is fun, keeping the same number of cards per pack (or close to it, with the added basic) is important.

also I think that, because of that, the pick order got screwed up. Zlehtnoba's been putting pick numbers in his PM titles, which is considerate. however, for whatever reason, I received the one labeled "pick 9" before "pick 8". I quickly glanced at the card counts and saw that the pick 8 was indeed more, so I went with it first. then I went back to pick 9 and realized it was Alliances, and thus should have had three fillers in it to bring it up to fifteen. so the alliances pack should be picked before the Innistrad pack, rstnme or whoever he passes to if he doesn't see this in time.

also, I just got my Masques pack back, with only three cards in it. I'm on pick 11, and masques had 15 cards per booster, so there should be 5. I double checked, and when I sent it to rstnme there were 14, as there should have been after my pick. somewhere along the way, two masques cards disappeared.

It's been almost 36 hours since I last received a pack, so... can't say much.
For the record, I received the Alliances pack second, and there were 13 cards in it. I don't know why, but hey.

Edit: Ah crap. AH CRAP.
...er, I deleted an extra card from Masques by accident. I probably quoted, and deleted the first card alone with the quote.

so um

what now? just keep going on the assumption that no card in a Masques pack was going to affect the draft anyway?

I'll "pick" the card I deleted when it comes back around.
Hopefully it doesn't kill anyone...

With two cards down, it might not.

The different number of cards in a pack is due to an ordering error by shazzeh. The system you used generates 10 common, 3 uncommon, 1 rare packs for older sets.

I actually didn't use that one because it wouldn't work, but I picked a set that had the right amount anyway.

anyway, I'll just send the masques block on. we are missing two cards from it, though, so it's not just storyteller.

Zlehtnoba I accidentally sent you back the masques pack instead of sending it to rstnme. you can ignore that. sorry.

Because my system is to hit quote, then edit, then change the recipient. For that one, I forgot the last step and sent pick 8 back to Cato. Then I noticed, and sent it on to you too.

So, I've made twelve picks. Is this as it should be?

I have 12 as well - expecting a single "no pick". I don't even know which pack was alliances. I am sort of amazed that this was screwed up... by someone OTHER than me.

I picked the alliances pack and passed 13 playables. I suppose I should've included a basic land, so congratulations Ace of Moxes you get a Swamp because you're in black.

I've made 10 picks so far.

rstme, has masques made it back around yet?

Nope. I just picked 10, so I haven't seen alliances wheel yet.

And I know WHY he's in black!
