I like the concept here, but why is it a mass of vines? Why not a giant mole or something? A Burrowing (large creature)?

I think of it as a large humanoid shaped mass of vines, then, when it wants to, it just "spreads" along the ground into a creepy crawly-like thing. Think the corruption (worms?) from Princess Mononoke.

Still kind of weird that it's an elemental when the name leans toward plant. This almost works with the treefolk flavour I posted actually. I do really love the way the card represents burrowing though. Might be a rare.

I love where you're going with this, but that's an awful lot of creatures. I would change it to "At the beginning of your upkeep, each player puts a 3/3 green Beast creature token onto the battlefield."

Also, you should change the Mastery trigger to be at the beginning of your draw step, both because that's where draw effects trigger these days and because it makes it clearer that the Beast counts towards your Mastery.

Originally the creatures was during opponents upkeeps, and the cards during yours.
I agree its lots of creatures, but I wanted you to be able to swing with yours first (without using Flash) which is why I didn't keep it that way or do it as you suggested.
It will more than likely change (again for the mass of creaturs), but it is also a rare so meh :p

Yeah the draw step is better.
I reduced teh cost, granted haste, and re-numbered/timed the triggers.
