Wow I won! I was up against a pretty neat card there so I did not get my hopes up.
Why do I have such good luck with black cards specifically? If this keeps happening I'm going to have to trade my black win for another color to get some variety. Heh, there are worse problems to have.

I see you edited your post, PO. I personally didn't want The Abyss variant in set, but meh. Maybe Endless Night will get in as another slot later on.

I really want to make something like a bear with "Pay 2 life: Put a relic artifact token onto the battlefield" or something, but... did we or did we not decide artifacts weren't going to really be in black?

Confused, although I strongly suspect it's overpowered.

Ace - Pretty cool. I worry that it will be hard to get many uses out of in draft. Question is, how many potential uses does it need to be draftable? Great in casual.
Cato - Pretty cool. Early game it's a fair trade, late game it's a dud, but then aren't most cheap creatures?
Parad - I think players might somehow get the impression that they can sacrifice the engrave token to get the effect. I wouldn't put engrave on anything that lets you sac artifacts.
Storyteller - Neat. But, it's pretty much unlimited power for relic decks. It limits what else we can make for the archetype while being usless for most other decks.
Altimis - A pretty high impact card. Pretty sweet with engrave cards. i see a RB "stuff dying powers up my spells" deck forming up.
Stein - That's super cool, but I kind of feel the design should be ramped up a notch and remade as a rare.
Confused - I worry that this may become overwhelming in draft. Also, it should probably be limited to sorcery speed.
