I'm thinking Soul Reap, because it seems a lot easier to play and about as powerful in a mostly not Eveningtide format.

well there's three pieces of removal and no absolute bombs. although Waves is really good. but anyway I think it comes down to the removals. Unmake is the strongest but hardest to cast. Soul Reap has more limitations but is easy to cast so we don't have to worry as much about color. and Puncture Blast can go to the face. I think it's Soul Reap but I wouldn't be upset with any of them.

Yeah, Soul Reap seems great. Unmake basically puts us in two colors from the first pick, because it's not like we're going to be drafting monocolor; Soul Reap is way more flexible if we don't get passed white.

Puncture Blast for me. It's great and we'll be basically cutting Red. Let the other guys fight for the Black cards.

I don't think you can cut red while passing Waves of Aggression.

This effect always look like win-more to me. Maybe I'm undervaluing the card, but I still like Puncture Blast here.

if they've completely stabilized then it's worthless, but it's a huge upside in competitive damage races.

Soul reap for ease of casting.

Puncture blast

Wither makes this thing really good, way better than an ordinary burn spell.

This could be an interesting discussion. Basically, we have to choose between unconditional removal or something that can deal damage to the face and make a bomb a nonbomb. Random pack drafts tend to be slower limited formats, about the pace of sealed, because people tend to be worse drafters when they don't have archetypes to draft. This ups the power of unconditional removal, but it makes drafting a sleek aggro deck a very winning strategy. So I'll go puncture blast here, and aim for an aggro start.

I'm already missing Puncture Blast, Hatchet Bully looks good.

I'm going with Grace here.

Hmm, Hatchet Bully does seem good, but I'm going to go ahead an pick Desecrator Hag here, because Gravedigger is always a solid pick.

Harvest Gwyllion is a good card. A 2/4 that people really don't want to run into because of Wither
Hag isn't as good as gravedigger because you can't pick the card.
