I dont see why it wouldnt. I'm also pretty sure I've played it with the controller before, but I dont have it installed on my laptop or I'd check.

Hit up Google really quick.

I know I've played one of them with a controller. ...... I'm @#$@ with a mouse when it comes to shooters, so most of the time I make sure it has the support. One sec........

Yeah the internet claims they are supported.

If you keep an eye out, sometimes Valve gives away L4D2, I know they did it in the past year. Anyone who installed it got it free, also, it usually drops to $4.99 sometime during each sale, so don't sweat it, it'll come around again soon.

I've played LfD and LfD2 on both Xbox and PC

The game is fine on both. You might have population issues with the xbox version, and vs bots can get old pretty quick.

And it is controller compatible

In other news, STEAM SALEEEEE

So has anyone actually bought anything on the steam sales yet?

So far they are just putting up the normal weekly deal stuff with a few gems interspersed like far cry 3 that I've already played (and a lot of people who want it probably have too). Has anyone seen anything yet they couldn't wait till the last day for?

I grabbed Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon since it was under $4 and I got a buddy of mine some XCOM stuff for six something.

The whole far cry series was actually 14 bucks for all of it.. I would have gotten that if I didn't already own them elsewhere.

Anyone think Dark Souls II is going to get cheaper?

At best it might go from 33% to 40% off for a flash sale, but I think it's still too new to get a big discount.

Eh. Then I think I'm just going to get it. I would rather play it this weekend then wait 10 days to save 5 bucks.

The other thing I wanted to ask was when do they generally start putting bundles on sale? Like you know publisher deals and stuff?

Typically they do those unannounced, I believe. In face, yesterday the Valve Pack was one sale for 75% off ($24.99), but today it's only 50% off ($49.99).

Also, please don't blame me if Dark Souls II goes on a bigger sale, it's just a guess.

Eh. Unless it goes to 75% off +, I won't care that much. Even then? Unless they put somethign really super awesome on sale and that is the reason I can't get it (unlikely), I won't be THAT UPSET. This is probably the last video game I'll go out and buy until September barring a really big bundle I can't pass up or an extremely good deal I don't see them putting out.

I picked up Call of Juarez - Gunslinger because I heard that's actually a pretty decent FPS as far as that sort of thing goes. Plus it's a western which is nice. Other then that nothing really came up I liked yet. Ah well little over an hour to go before 8 more appear - hopefully something cool will turn up.

I don't want the first, and I already have the second, but some people might care. So Risk of Rain and ShadowRun Returns are 75% off on this round of 8 hours.

I wholeheartedly recommend getting Shadowrun Returns...'s expansion Dragonfall. The first campaign was alright but the second was just so much better refined then it.

Skyrim Ultimate is $14 and DA Origins ultimate is $8 right now. Both are stellar buys.

I got AC Black Flag, because I've been meaning to get it and never did.
Also got Planetary Annihilation, because I promised myself I would buy it next time I made a steam purchase.
