In both Mafia [Dethy] games we've hosted on NGA, town has won on Day 1, making for incredibly short games. So, this time, they're going to have similar roles and possibilities, but also a lot more landmines set into the game. The game will start on Night 0, and only Cops may act. There will be no guarantees how many of each Cop variant will be used, or even if all variants will be in the game. There will only be one Mafia, but discovering who it is will be something of a challenge (hopefully).

The game is designed for ten players, and once we have all ten your role PMs will be sent out and you will be able to begin!

The Possible Roles Are:

Cop - Sane (0 - 3)
Investigates one person per night, finds are normal. The Cop will not know their sanity and their sanity will not be revealed upon death. Cops may posses other roles as well.

Cop - Insane (0 - 3)
Investigates one person per night, finds are inverted. The Cop will not know their sanity and their sanity will not be revealed upon death. Cops may posses other roles as well.

Cop - Paranoid (0 - 3)
Investigates one person per night, all finds are Mafia. The Cop will not know their sanity and their sanity will not be revealed upon death. Cops may posses other roles as well.

Cop - Naive (0 - 3)
Investigates one person per night, all finds are Town. The Cop will not know their sanity and their sanity will not be revealed upon death. Cops may posses other roles as well.

Grandma With a Shotgun (0 - 1)
If the Grandma with a shotgun is visited by anyone during the night, that person dies. So if a Cop visits her, they die. The people visiting her do not know if they died because of her or because of the Mafia or whatnot. They're on the Town team. During Night 0, anyone who inspects this player will not die, but they also will not discover that they have this role.

The Postman (0 - 1)
The Postman acts like a normal villager, except for one little surprise. When he is killed, he reveals himself as the postman and goes "postal," taking someone with him to the grave.

Romeo and Juliet Pair (0 - 2)
If one of the pair gets killed or lynched the other one kills them self. The players will only know if they are Romeo or Juliet, but they will not know the identity of the other at the beginning of the game. These roles may overlap any of the other roles as well.

Mafia - Normal (x1)
Kills once per night. Because only one Mafia is in the game, the normal death to Grandma With a Shotgun is removed.

Dethy was fine because it was so small.

Well, guess maybe I should delay this. I was hoping we had enough players, but it seems there is only a small core group willing to play right now. Too bad. I'll try again in the coming weeks.
