It being a Legendary card is problematic though since there's no particular reason for a ruined academy on this plane to be legendary, unless we really build up the current Academy's storyline... This might be a good excuse to do so though.

We'd have to reprint Volrath's Stronghold as some other flavored legendary land... which doesn't seem like a good idea.

I think doing a lower-rarity cycle of one-shot effects like Haunted Fengraf would be better than finishing the Academy Ruins cycle anyway. The spells one would get crazy unfun.

Agreed on the colors, although as a possible variant, we could also do:
White: Enchantment, Blue: Artifact, Black: Sorcery, Red: Instant, Green: Creature
But I do prefer Enchantment, Artifact, Creature, Spells and Lands myself, although the green one feels quite underwhelming. Can cycle landfall triggers, I suppose.

Should there be a procedure in place for starting rounds when there's no criteria submitted? I totally don't mind waiting an extra day but last time this happened we ended up missing an entire round and doing a double criteria.
