Keyboard + Mouse gives you more control when driving, but I won't lie and say that I don't prefer using a controller to drive.

Squinty, my mouse has one of those buttons and I HATE it. I've never had an issue with my mouse sensitivity when sniping, but I think that is because of when I used to be more competitive in Halo with 9 sensitivity

Why do you hate it? At worst, you don't need to use it and can be passive about it.

I dont find this to be the case at all. Controllers allow for smoother and more controlled turns, whereas the keyboard results in jerky motions.

If you're driving straight and need to turn left, using a keyboard there are only two degrees with which you can use 'left'. Either 100% or 0%... the button is either pressed or it isnt. So what results is usually you tap the button for a second then release then tap it a bit more cause you're not done yet and repeat as needed. With an analog stick you can simply tilt it to the desired degree of the turn and make a smooth rounded motion, letting off a bit or turning more as needed without your only choice being "stop hitting the button".

You just turn the camera to point the direction you want to go.

I have a sensitivy button as well but it's not really used. I probably should instead of just adapting to the game. But too often I accidentally hit and screw up everything.
