So, I had been working on building a homebrew city to toy around with, and though it's not done and has no storyline set up as of yet, would people have any interest in playing in it? I'm most familiar with Pathfinder, so that's the system I'd run it in. I could probably support a 4 - 7 player campaign, anyone think they'd wanna have a go at it? I am new to DM-ing, but I'd like to give this a try, and forums give me the most time to formulate responses so hopefully I'd respond appropriately to everyone.

The city you will be beginning in is named
Ixen'Taoul (also known as
The City of Opportunity, as well as
The Grand Crossroads), and it's a trade city. The city is 21 miles East to West, 28 miles North to South, making the overall area inside of it 294 square miles. There is a Fire Mage Tower in the dead center of the city known as
Ixen'Donoap. The Qanesc River runs through the city, and though it was once a single mighty river, it has been channeled and run through the various districts of the city. The government system in this town is a group of Nobles who control all of the trade done in the city, though each family deals with different products, they work together to make decisions for the city. The population stands just over 2 million people. The walls are 650 ft high, being over a tenth of a mile tall also stand about 300 feet wide, and are solid all of the way through. The walls also extend about 220 feet into the ground to help against sappers. Two miles in all directions along the inner city walls there are various farms set up. This land includes their houses as well as their fields, tending to nearly any and everything. One of the main features of
Ixen'Taoul is:
Merchant's Row: This is the main road that runs just south of the central mage tower. It is a perfectly straight shot that runs perfectly East to West. The road is about 785 feet wide, and the middle is kept clear of stationary items to allow for merchants and caravans to travel through. On either side of the road there are massive amounts of carts and some more permanent fixtures set up in an exceedingly long strip mall. Shopping can be found from one gate to the other, though there are certain miles where there are nearly no shops at all. Still, it is free and open to browse, and most families manage to go visit it at least once a week.
*Iron Fist - Roll 3d6, no rerolls and they go directly into the stats in order rolled (STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA). You will gain an extra bonus from the DM for choosing this option, but its also the one most likely to screw you over. Bonus given after character creation.~SE++
