Well, since 12 mana allows me to draw my entire deck, a 20 cmc should just say "You win." But since that's boring and not the point of the contest I'm going to have to move this into EDH territory since thats likely the only way a card with a 20 cmc would ever see play outside of stupid reanimator or "Not-really-20-cmc-because-Im-reducing-the-cost" type cards.

The etb trigger isn't supposed to activate if it drops off from being an enchantment, which is why I made the bestow cost only . Its bestow is like "When enchanted creature dies, put a 3/3 Fox creature onto the battlefield." without the etb effect. I couldn't think of a fancy flavor text for it so I opted to omit it.

That's what I figured and acted on the basis of. I just wanted to confirm that's how you were intending its function.

That is inconsistent with design practices; to keep things basically simple with a weird mechanic, things that bestow always offer what they have to the thing they are bestowed upon. Boon Satyr is essentially the only outlier in that giving a creature already in play flash wouldn't do anything but follows suit in every other way. At , +3/+3 aura for 1 with upside effect that also becomes a elephant is of course too good, but without the +3/+3 its just terribly inconsistent.

Ok, so, here's how this works. As soon as I clicked "submit", I realized this criteria was a bad idea. At a certain point, any given over-the-top mana cost had might as well be equal to . There's no real way you can justify putting anything but "win more" on a card that's 20cc. Which means that all of these cards are bad and I hate you all.

No, seriously though, I had hoped for more cost-reduction cards, but even I struggled to find something interesting to do with such a mana cost. 20cc is boring, annoying, and bullshit, and I'm sorry I trudged you all through it, and I hope Wizards never actually does something so ridiculous. At the very least, this was a rather quick round by comparison to how long these rounds usually end up lasting. So, what's going to happen, unlike the norm, is I'm not going to be giving personalized critique. If you want a personalized critique, please, feel free to request one. I will certainly give them out if asked, but otherwise, you're going to have to make due with just flat scores. It is currently 1pm and I have been at work doing nothing since 8am. Meaning that I have been mulling over how to give each of you personalized critiques for more or less five hours now and can't bring myself to put down anything constructive.
