Dethy

Dethy is a five-player Mafia game with a 1-man mafia, and four variant cops that are not told which cop variant they are. The sanity of each cop is not revealed upon death. The game starts in Night 0, in which only the cops may act. The cop variants are:

Sane (normal cop)
Paranoid (Gets "Mafia" result for all players)
Naive (Gets "Town" result for all players)
Insane (Gets reversed results from normal)

I'm not sure I can handle 2 Mafia games at the same time, but this looks fun and rather quick so...

This game sounds really interesting. Im not signing up because with so few people I think my timezone would just make the game less fluid. But I will definitely watch this game.

I doubt timezones affect it that highly. Personally, I have a schedule that mimics Eastern Russia since I work second shift, but that never stops me from participating in these games.

I'd be willing to sign up (and I'm in Europe, so forget timezones). This should be quick enough that I could fit it around my other commitments.

Alright, we have our five players!

Currently, I'm at work and will be for the next six hours or so, but I'll send PMs and get the thread started when I get home. The game begins on Night 0, and only for the cops, so once you have your PM, please PM me back with your target for the night, unless you're Mafia, at which point.... well, just hang on while we get the game going.

are there any plans to run more standard Dethy games? it's always been one of my favorite variants and I'd love to play some again. if you're not planning to run more, would you mind if I did?

I'm too busy to play in one but I could mod it if both SE and razorborne want to play.

If anyone starts up a dethy game, I'm in. If no one does, I could start one when my other mafia game ends.

I have plans to run another one sometime soon-ish, but right now my playing or running any game on NGA is highly contingent on when I actually get a new computer. If anyone wants to run one in the meantime, go for it, but when I get my new computer I will run some more games as well as catch up on my D&D games.

I successfully helped win the previous game? Except that can't be it, because that also applies to NeoSilk...
