Posting Frequency: I usually pop on and take a look around at least daily, often more like hourly, but it depends on how busy I am.
Type of Campaign: D&D - I've only played 3.5e in the past, so that would be my preference. I've also played a little Shadowrun (4e), so I'd be up for more of that.
Types of Characters: I've played a druid and a bard so far. I guess I like a combination of melee combat and casting, and I prefer a class with a strong strategy element, but I'm quite happy with pretty much anything.
Old Characters: I don't have my character sheets with me, but I've had a level 12 druid who used the old venomfire fleshraker combo, and a bard 6/warblade 1/crusader 1 with some inspire courage optimisation, a reach/Stand Still strategy, and a focus on versatility when it comes to skills. For Shadowrun I played a fairly straight forward drone rigger.
Other Information: My usual DM could be said to be somewhat soft on certain rules (for example, we don't keep any track of how much weight we're carrying), so a more strict DM may occasionally need to pull me up on certain things, I guess. Just so you know.

I'm completely new at this. Actually, there was that one time I started playing a campaign over voice chat, but all I can remember from that campaign was that I fumbled in every fight possible and killed more players than enemies. It didn't last long. Oh, I remember how it ended. I fumbled and killed my last partner, and was at 1 hp. Then the enemy made a critical roll.

What Do You Prefer to Play? Honestly, everything and anything! Dwarves are my favorite race overall, not from a playing standpoint. Humans are so varied, Tieflings so complex, Gnomes are.... well.... Gnomes.... as for classes, like before, anything! I'm usually a spellcaster or rogue, though. Most commonly a bard or wizard. I've even heard there's a swashbuckling class in 3.5 that I would love to try out.
Old Characters: Aurlik Strongshield, Dwarven warrior; Nemin the Gnome rogue. Usually I've DMd, so not much option for players.
Old Campaigns: If a few sessions with a group that cared naught for roleplaying (as in 'Can I roll Wisdom to solve the puzzle?') count...

Type of Games You Play: I consider myself an old school player having started back at the start of 2nd Edition AD&D (I still regret missing on 1st Edition) . I play pretty much anything with my local group (from D&D to Poison'd, from WOD to FATE, from Cthulhu to L5R etc. I have really enjoyed in the past a forum posting game based on the L5R setting but mostly freeform. Would probably be willing to DM after I get the hang of this a little. Have never tried Mafia games on line though I have played a lot of Lupus in Tabula IRL. (on a side note with such a big MAFIA community here you should try Aye Dark Overlord as well on line, using dice to substitute cards...

Types of Characters: Depends on the whim of the moment, sometimes I play the oddity, sometimes I play the stereotype, can be a pain in the @ss sometimes I think. In the end it is mostly about having fun and creating an exciting story even doing things against personal interest.

Other Information: I am looking forward to trying various games and getting to know players from around the world, so far I am more concentrated in 5th edition D&D, let me know if you are preparing something.
