Yeah, I was saying you should use your AP to heal Dairon. If not I'll use my Heal skill next turn and let him use a surge. I haven't used 1000 yet this encounter so he should be good, and I have a +4 mod anyway.

You can use an AP to attempt to jump/scale the wall, or you can move to be a threat to Xilvan so he doesn't come after Dairon and I. Even if you don't know "where" he is, you still gain the benefits of threatening him.

I suppose characters wont receive any additional benefit for spending actions points on account of the fact I'm not technically in the party yet? Ah well.

I think I'll try the climb...I think that seems to make the most sense. So, I use my move to get next to the wall, since that's within my speed, then I can use my standard action to try and climb the wall, right? Then, assuming I can climb, I can use my action point to try and attack the goblin. Could I then use my minor action to kick the axe down towards Leskyn?

If this is right, it all really depends on my athletics check, with +8, I'd hope I can get over 15!

Oh, well, I guess the attack is off the table, since when I climb, I'm not near the gob. So, I'm thinking move, move to wall, standard, climb wall, minor, kick axe over the edge.

You can move and climb as part of the same movement. When climbing, your movement is reduced to a half (but the terrace wall is only 10 feet of height), so it is possible to Du'tok reach C5 with just one movement (if he succeeds in his athletics check).

If in doubt, you can break your post in more than one. Try the move first, and if it fails, you can try again or do something else.

All that, and a crappy attack roll...but, at least the axe is going over the side - do I need to roll anything to make sure I don't drop it on Leskyn's head?

No, the axe has to randomly pick a square Xilvan is in and be correct before it can fall on Xilvan, der :|

So, since I'm next to it, and you know, it's a lever, I think I'll be pulling it next turn (that's a minor action, right?).

Since I expect it to come up, would it be an athletics check to jump down from the ledge? Can I combine that with an attack? I mean, it works in the movies, right?

It's an acrobatics check to not take the requisite damage from a 10 foot fall. Remember you're carrying heavy things, so it's more like jumping while holding 40+ lbs. Difficult to do well.

Unfortunately, the rules for pushing somebody in D&D are convoluted beyond any sense. I think you suffer an opportunity attack, when really it's just a basic push kick that anybody who's taken two martial arts classes could do... lemme go read rules...
