I think I would take the iconoclast. Trailblazer is OK too. I mean, c'mon Ajani has to mentor SOMEONE.

Font is horrid and barely a playable. Taking third pick font is a huge mistake. I'd rather speculate on War Wing Siren or take an on-color creature. If you want another land...play another land. It's not worth 3 mana for this effect.

Leonin Iconoclast this card is potentially extremely powerful and an on-color creature.

Iconoclast, although I don't hate Revel.

Font is necessary for what is beginning to look like a three-color ramp deck. There are no good green or white commons in the pack. White has three commons I would take over the Iconoclast, all missing.

We didn't pass much blue yet, so we could speculate on the Siren. :u::g: is so heavily drafted lately; still, if it works out, we get a big bonus, and if it doesn't, we only miss the Font, which we should be able to get later.

OK, change my pick to War-Wing Siren

Three-color ramp deck? We are on pick three...

I'm fine with taking War-Wing Siren, Icono is a fine card for us here if we want to be safe but I'm not against going for the best card in the pack.

Font is BAD and is usually gotten on the wheel anyway.

I would rather have the siren too. It's the best card in the pack, and we're on pick 3.

I'll take a hoof, though I'd be happy with an eagle or a presence.

Maybe Eagle of the Watch. I'm not so sure here. Ajani's Presence is also a consideration. I don't really like the Centaur here. We can get that type of guy later (if we even want it). There is a lot of good red here which scares me. Ajani is strong enough to build around though.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I really like Quarry Colossus.

Presence just barely over Eagle. Actually, if Presence isn't in the pack I might jump to Red.

Eagle of the Watch

Creatures first, then the tricks. Thunderhoof is OK, but more replaceable than the Eagle.

This exactly. It might even be correct to jump to Red down the road.

Nyx-Fleece Ram is right up our alley. Good for the curve, works well with Ajani (protecting him and then getting large, gains us life, triggers Constellation (if that becomes a thing), trolls the opponent as well.

Yes, by a large margin. Oppressive Rays is a 22nd/23rd card typically. The Ram goes in every deck. Remember it isn't a defender. Any bestow makes it huge. On top of all of the other upside I already pointed out.

Ram is not much better than a 22nd/23rd card anyway. That said, the only real card in the pack is Infusion, but I don't think it's enough of a reason to go Black.

Ram.
