A bunch of goblins, some spells to trigger Guttersnipe.

Thinking about maybe using Trumpet Blast rather than Furor of the Bitten, or maybe a combo of the two...

Edit - this is, of course, assuming the 4/2/1/1 rule. Until we know if that's real or not, I don't expect to put too much time into thinking up decks...

I think that coordinated assault does exactly what this decks needs.

not sure if quest for the goblin lord will work here, might be too slow, horrible not getting it in the absolute beginning. and with only one rabblemaster it might not get activated.

Anyway, I think we got to choose between the permanent boosts and spells boost (quest, paragon, hall, maybe even ogre battledriver to raid bombardment+trumpet blast+coordinated assault+guttersnipe). I don't like volcanic geyser with that many lands, and the fast game plan.

Should also note that restricting yourself to non premium really hurt his game plan (bushwhacker, paragon, hall, shortcutter). but you can go with kiln fiend and the spell boosters plan.

I went back and forth on quest a bit - it's not great, I'll admit, but, you are 2/5 done with 1 Krenko's Command.

I kind of wanted to start with a Goblin/Kiln Fiend one, but I figure that's another deck...

not sure if it is, because quest and rabblemaster are the only tribal cards. and quest is questionable even if running just goblins as creatures.

Edited my list - for some reason, I had it in my head that the quest gave much better than +2/+0.
Dropped those and the geysers for the fiends.
I think that Furor of the Bitten now needs to go, and get replaced by creatures or instants...but, it's time for me to leave work...so that will be later!

Edit - Furor could get replaced by ogre battledriver and 3 flings...

I think I would replace furor of the bitten and 1 mountain with 2xcoordinated assault,1xfling,2xtrumpet blast.

There should be the possible cards list up there in the top (red+colorless).

I have seen some really nice ideas floating around the past few days guys. Kudos!
I've even been lurking at TMS and am really digging on some of Stevo's tricksies. I sure would like to get him over here and post a little. Seems like DJ0045 and He are doing most of the brewing right now.
No slight to anyone else who has also.
I love brew myself but can't bring out my crazy ideas just yet. There are cards, as people have mentioned before, that haven't been spoiled for the main game yet. It doesn't look very balanced right now and the inclusion of a few choice cards could make or break a deck idea or completely change the starting meta.
There's a lot of Green missing and that's what I want to work with first.
I want to build a "Crazy Uncle Wuster" , stomp your face with quickly herded, monstrous friends from the forests while I lounge on the beach, sipping a Pina Colada and age backward deck!

Second is a Kiln Fiend/Burn deck so you will see me post a good one soon enough.

Nice stuff though. Keep cranking out the cool ideas guys.

People are talking about the possible 4/2/1/1 restriction mentioned in one of the articles which is why people have been sticking to that for now when making the decks but if it's not there obviously the decks will change.


I do like the decks I have seen also especially Stevo's on the other forum but I'm not good at looking at a list and building a deck, I need to go through the cards and add/remove them until it works plus I have no clue what the rarities are which makes it more difficult and then there's still a few missing cards.

Your deck is pretty low cmc wise, you could probably afford to shave off several more mountains. Also, I am not sure fling is doing much for you here, a lot of the times you are going to be sacrificing a creature to do 1 - 3 damage, you might as well just include Seismic Strike or Bolt of Keranos.

I did think about going for less mountains, but going under 20 is going into kinda dangerous waters, so I wouldn't do that without some playtesting. Fling is meant as a finisher especially together with rabblemaster. Since Seismic Strike can't hit players and Bolt of Keranos is super slow, they don't really fit well in the deck.

If you're rolling short curve it's not too slow to possibly scry that land out of the way and maybe bring a value card to the top.

Scrying is pretty good, but I'm not sure can you afford to spend your whole turn dealing 3 damage at sorcery speed. Ideally you want to be putting down creatures every turn except maybe on the turn you win the game. If the bolt got in the deck it would probably be as a replacement for Skullcrack as that is a card that can be amazing in the right matchup, but also just be a bad Searing Spear. Would depend on how many people played lifegain and cards like Safe Passage.
