And while your answering True Believer's question above, how do you want the assist rolls done? Roll for each check as similar to climbing up?

Anyone assisting must make one athletics check which applies to the entire climbing effort of one character. Success will lower the DC of the athletics checks for the climbing party by 2. Failure increases the DC by 1.

The character climbing must make 7 athletics checks and one endurance check. This is assuming a speed of 6 squares and all normal conditions. If you are faster or slower you must make more or less accordingly. For example, Thibor, being a dwarf, will have to make 8 athletics checks instead of 7.

You also get a +2 to the athletics checks because of the climber's kit. All other bonuses I will apply myself to the DC.

Well then, might as well attempt an assist... Though it is a 50/50 I might help or hinder.
